As a loc girlie I love air drying my hair, but if I'm going somewhere that requires me to take my time, I'm using this to get my hair all the way right. I love the size, comfort, and drying time. It fits perfectly around my head and the blow dryer I own. There's noise due to the dryer, however, this product is easy-to-use and it's performance gets the job done.

For the cost, I had no grand expectations. But it does what it is intended to do. It gets very hot on the high setting - maybe even dangerously so, but you’ll know right away. Low is plenty hot enough for most any use.

Let's start with the good - It's purple - Love the color and the fact that this is so compact and has a drawstring carry pouch (no bigger than the label it came with - picture 1) the bonnet has a drawstring in the hood and chin snaps to help keep it on your head (pictures 2 & 3). The tube has an elastic band to go around the tunnel of your dryer and an elastic loop to hook around the body (again to aid in keeping it in place) (Pictures 2-6)My Use - I got this dryer bonnet to help with my deep conditioning treatments. Having naturally curly hair I need to do them weekly for 20-minute sessions. I prop my dryer up giving it plenty of room and air flow. This allows the tube/bonnet to inflate nicely (pictures 3 & 4)Now for the bad - NONE of these dryer bonnets will fit a negative ion blow dryer without the straightening attachment nozzle (picture 5&6) I have the Phorra Airflow 110000 rpm sold on AmazonI noticed this bonnet does help dry my hair, but not well and it takes freaking forever hence I don't use it for that purpose. (It takes an hour and a half with the bonnet whereas Hover Defusing my hair is actually shorter at 30 to 45 minutes)Overall I give this product three stars - minus 1 - bc I noticed the threads that keep in the inner bonnet attached are starting to pop and fray when inflatedAnd minus one star for not fitting the dryer properly (this design flaw can easily be remedied with a larger electric or adjustable drawstring)

This just doesn’t work for me. Bonnet is not firmly stay on head and connection to dryer falls off.

As described. Only con I have is that hair didn't dry evenly (as expected); hair closest to point of entry dried faster. I turned the bonnet a bit for other areas and when done, went over the top of head with just the blow dryer by itself to finish up. Still a great help. I had bonnet on and running while I ate lunch so a time saver and easier on the arms than holding a dryer for like an hour to get all dry.

Seriously, it folds up into the tiny pouch that comes with it and fits in your suitcase. All hotels have hair dryers, so this thing is a gem. The trick is to put the hair dryer on the lowest setting both for speed and temperature. Even on my cool temperature setting,, lightly warm air comes out and surrounds your hair under the bonnet. The bonnet stays on just fine with the drawstring pull . Chin straps are not required.. I'm cutting the silly things off.The whole dryer assembly is made out of nylon. The tube that attaches to the hair dryer has a springy coil in it.. pretty clever invention.. my hair is straight and I can dry it to be super curly.. it works!Not only works great, stores small, uses a hair dryer I already have and prevents curling iron hair damage.Buy it... Color is nice too!

This hood is great for drying/steaming/deep conditioning. At first I was confused about the holes in the tubing but it looks like that's to prevent overheating.My 1 issue is that I can't make a tight seal against my head because the adjusting cord is so short and even with the chin straps it still can blow off when my blowdryer's on so I have to hold it down.

The fabric tube had already ripped at the seams. Also this is no good if you have any volume to your hair. When the hood expands, it'll flatten everything to your head.I admit it's very convenient and portable, tho... would be good for drying protective styles like braids or twists.

Air doesn't flow well inside, the shape is not ideal. I've used better ones.

Find it mostly heats the crown and it gets so hot just in the one spot. Hair smells burnt after.
