COBI Small Army Messerschmitt BF 109E Building Kit

I am a pretty experienced builder of blocks and have many years of building models of various difficulty. My primary blocks have been Lego, although I can recall building with other brands, especially when the theme was exclusive.So, building this was definitely fun, although sometimes needlessly challenging. Often a step would involve arranging blocks without attaching them together or to the build in progress. That caused me to unbuild and rebuild a few times. Also, by necessary some parts have very few layers to hold them together (ie the wings) so there seems to be some tendency for these to not lock together as tightly as I'm used to. Detail pieces occasionally seem determined to pop off, although it's not happened yet, I'm definitely watching out for it.In all, five star product. The model is attractive and true to the original. It is nice enough to display, and study enough to let a small child play with it. None of the pieces seem overly fragile, so s child could put this together, but a little help from an adult might be necessary at a few points.

I am a long time Lego fan and builder, so I was very apprehensive on Cobi, and waited a very long time before I purchased my first kit. With that being said I am sorry I waited so long. These kits are very well constructed, the directions are very straight forward, and the completed pieces are very well represented.Lego has always said they would never produce "weapons of war" kits, and that leaves a huge hole for us that like history. Cobi has definitely picked that up and have produced very well done kits for very inexpensive prices. I would dare to guess if Lego produced the same kit it would be at least three times more expensive than they are now. As more and more people discover Cobi I anticipate the resale value to continue to rise. These really are well put together pieces and well represent the item they are trying to portray.I would HIGHLY recommend this Cobi kit to any person who likes history and enjoys building Lego's.

These are made very well and are very true to the real thing. My son now wants to order all of them.

The directions were a little tricky at times as all the parts are spread out into different smaller bags. It took about two hours to put together but I was super pleased with the plane - I ordered another one for more fun

I’ve ordered my son several of the Cobi fighter planes and one tank. The quality of the planes and how they look are amazing. Spinning propellers and landing gear that moves. The design and look of the planes are model quality.Only two issues. Some of the builds the landing gear is not secured on well and can break away easily. This can be fixed by reinforcing with some spare pieces or glueing the pieces on. Also the instructions were a bit hard to figure out. Once we figured out that the dark and light colors means which ones needed to go on vs pieces that were already installed it made it easier. My 8 year old put it all together himself

My kid loved it! Pieces fit together tightly and instructions were pretty straight forward. Encourage all cobi collectors to get it.

Great product. It came fast, was pretty easy to build, and very accurate. Only downside is Cobi’s instructions are always the best and the human figures are weird but other than than it’s fantastic.I have the Tiger 131 and BF-109.

If you’re buying a gift for someone who likes aviation, History, model airplanes or Lego-type building blocks, these Cobi airplane kits are always a good call.This Messerschmidt BF-109 by Cobi is a fairly accurate representation of the iconic WW2 German aircraft. It consists of 250 pieces and a pilot mini figure. From box to completed model, it took me roughly 90 minutes to build. This model displays well among my other Cobi WW2 planes.

Angefangen habe ich zunächst erstmal mit einem Modell, da ich nicht genau wusste wie die Qualität und wie detailreich das Modell ist. Mittlerweile habe ich mir acht Bausätze bestellt und bin sowohl von der Qualität wie auch von der Art und Weise der Modell begeistert. Alle Bauteile waren bisher vorhanden und diese wiesen auch keine Fehler oder Schäden auf. Das Modell ist sehr detailreich und die Aufkleber haben eine gute Qualität. Mit der Bauanleitung muss man sich erst einmal etwas vertraut machen, da diese in ihrer Art etwas anders ist als beim Markenführer aus Dänemark. Wünschenswert wäre eine Beschriftung/Nummerierung der Bauteiletütchen.Für Sammler von historischen Flugzeugmodellen sind die Bausätze wirklich eine Bereicherung und schöne Anschauungsmodelle. Ich kann in jedem Fall eine Kaufempfehlung abgeben.

Superbe boîte avec notice complète et bien détaillé. Marque (polonaise) concurrente à celle très connu L...mais qui est spécialisé dans les avions et char seconde guerre mondiale, ayant vu des vidéo et bon commentaires j'ai pris cette boîte. Résultat pas déçus assemblage facile avec une notice détaillé et les pièces ne se détache pas comme une autre marque concurrente à L made in china. Très content du final et mon fils de 6 ans a adoré y jouer aussi, avec l'hélice qui tourne, les roues qui s'abaissent et roule excepté la petite de derriere, le cockpit qui souvre avec le petit pilote en taille d'un bonhomme de L...Fourni avec un petit support pour les collectionneurs ou amateur qui veulent s'en servir comme décoration.

Bought this excellent kit for my 4 year olds Xmas. Having been left a little exasperated by the ever increasing and totally extortionate price of original brand "LEGO" I have been buying "alternative" lego type kits, at, a much more reasonable price, for the last few years and I have generally been impressed. This kit and collection have totally raised the bar. This kit is a bit fiddley and younger children will need a lot of assistance to build, but once built its solid and looks ever impressive. I paid around 18 quid for this and its a total bargain. I honestly reckon if this were a "LEGO" produced kit you would surely be looking at 35-40 british pounds, at least.Like "LEGO" kits? Trust me buy this you will not be disappointed. Cannot praise or recommend enough. Oh... I typed into youtube "cobi 109" and there is an excellent video of a guy who has built one, it really shows you what you are getting.Watch the video and make this the next kit you buy.
