Wow, was I surprised how much nicer than I could imagine when this lovely lady kangaroo and her joey were when they arrived here at their new home! She is so big! That’s just too cool. I’m an adult collector and this lovely lady Roo and her joey are a wonderful addition to my collection. Her joey is removable, but I like to keep with his mom at all times. They’re both soft and beautiful and just so huggable. They’re very well made and realistic looking. She and her joey are perfect! I always recommend my animals to adult collectors or even a teen who loves kangaroos. Children destroy things and I hate the thought of this sweet Roo having that happen or losing her joey. So if you’re an adult and love kangaroos, this precious lady and her baby are a wonderful addition to a collection or even to just have standing in your room. The price for the quality and size was fantastic. She comes shipped in a box, and also a big clear, plastic bag which I’ve kept on her to protect them until I get my collection in order. Doug and Melissa products are really wonderful, if only they had them when I was younger….as there are many different toys that a kid would love. Excellent item from an excellent company. Well done! A MUST for any kangaroo lover!

This is supposed to be a kangaroo and looks like a gremlin... Over 100 dollars wasted not to mention seems are Ripped in a few spots. Very disappointed with this purchase please do not make the mistake and buy another brand.

As a lover of kangaroos, I was in the market for a stuffed animal to use as a prop in the monthly photographs to track my daughter's growth over the first year. I thought this one would be great! It worked really well for that.Now it is a staple in our playroom. With some finagling, we are able to get the kangaroo to stand on it's own, but we typically have it standing in the corner by our cubbies because I find that it often does fall and the cubbies provide support so that it still stands upright. My now 18-month old daughter loves to hug it and it's light enough that she can awkwardly carry it around herself. She really seems to enjoy the removable baby Joey. The baby is little enough that it often gets thrown in the diaper bag when we go out. It has survived the wash, too! (Washed AND dried in a lingerie bag).I do want to point out that I don't necessarily think this is the "cutest" stuffed animal out there, but it is definitely realistic. I am not docking any stars for this, because I think it comes exactly as advertised/pictured. My husband thinks that the momma kangaroo looks like a giant rat face, and I tend to agree! The little baby is cute though!

My daughter absolutely loves this. It's great that the Joey comes out of the pouch. The mother's legs are not as sturdy as you would think. The legs were bent when I opened the box and they seem to want to stay that way. Other than that it's great I recommend to any kangaroo lovers.
