Not for everyone. My son has been using for two months and now has a skin infection due to this product. Urgent care says the product opened up pores and his skin then allowed an infection to take place. His eye is completely swollen shut for 2 days now and he is on antibiotics for 10 days. Monitor closely, this is not for sensitive skin!!!!! I would not recommend.

My face had gotten really bad after my miscarriage & because I had sensitive skin I figured that this would be great since it’s such a well known product. Absolutely not. I used it for maybe a week when I noticed that my face started shedding like snake skin. Soon after it would start burning to the point my skin became scarred. I would not recommend it to anyone unless they eventually change the formula.

UPDATE!!This is a wonderful product at first. It dries everything up and you begin to heal. But the REBOUND ACNE!! My God, I felt horrible for my child. The acne made her look like a monster. Not being dramatic. I have gotten her off this product and her skin is beginning to heal. The acne calmed down immediately. ***************************************************My child is thrilled to have her out of control acne, controlled. All she has is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation now. Warning, it gets ugly before it gets better because it pulls everything out to the surface. Within 3 weeks, her face is happy. The thing she loves most is the glow her face has now. She is very happy.

I got proactive, the original, in college and it changed my life. My acne was cleared and all was well. As an adult now, about 20 years later, I tried this product with little satisfaction. It wasn’t horrible, I don’t regret buying it. It does exfoliate and the toner is great. The actual cream though seemed less intense for me. It may be even stronger, as they claim, a refined version. But for me, I recall the original formula working better. I will say I haven’t broken out, but the stubborn blemish are still there. I’ve used it for 2-3 months with no real change with those. My nose is clearer from blackheads though. The scrub is nice but it’s too smooth, like it slips on the face and doesn’t give you a harsher actual scrub feel. I then got myself a benzoyl peroxide solution and mixed it in a jar with the cream, equal parts and I’m tellin ya, this combo works great. The stubborn blemishes are actual fading only after a few days. That’s my honest review. I want to love it again but it just didn’t deliver that quick fix I remember it having. But like mentioned, mixing the cream with benzoyl peroxide seemed to have a magical effect. Other brands have this combo in it, so maybe for me that just is what my specific skin needs!

This is something that your would have to try before buying the full 60 day. I tried the 3o day and i liked it so i decided to order the full 60 day. It works for me, i know other reviews on here are not too pleased with it. For me it took my skin a few weeks to adjust.
