SportPet Car Seat Pet Crate, Car Kennel, Pet Tube Kennel, Pop Open Crate

We recently moved across country. A 3000 mile, six day drive. Of course our cat came with us!! He HATES the car, so after a bit of research, we came across this. I am SO happy we bought it. It had plenty of room for a litterbox, while also leaving enough room for him to comfortably lay down and sleep. We didn't have to give him the sedatives the vet prescribed at all. We did have to buy a smaller, disposable litterbox, as it would not fit his normal one with a raised back, but after having him use that box for a few weeks before we moved, he used it just fine in the carrier.I seriously CANNOT recommend this enough for traveling with small pets!! 10/10

This fit across the back of my back seat with room to spare. I moved my two chonky cats 900 miles and they were fine in this with a small litter box and their blankets.There is no insert to make a rigid floor - it is made to be sit on the floor or seat of a car. I used their carrier to get them to the car and emptied them into this kennel which was already set up in my car. Do not try and move this with your pets in it - the floor will probably rip at the seams.It spirals down to store flat - but it took me some doing to get it all in to latch flat. No problem though - just a few minutes of fiddling with it.Overall, I’m very pleased with this kennel. It did exactly what it said it would and I have zero complaints.

I purchased this to move my dad's two cats from Las Vegas to Florida via car. It gave them lots of space for the trip, as well as lots of air, and ability to see what was around them. It also folds up very nicely. Having hard doors also helped to facilitate easy removal of the cats when we stopped for the night at a hotel. A few times we actually took the whole thing in on a bell cart. Being squishable at the ends was nice then because I could make it fit on a cart entirely. I also liked knowing that the kennel was seatbelted in and I didn't need to worry about a quick stop dumping the kitties in the floor, or them moving around would wiggle the kennel off the seat. Overall, it was a great purchase and was priced much better than the competition. As a Floridian, I will be purchasing more of these for hurricane season. It would be very easy to transition from travel to sheltering solution.

The media could not be loaded.  We purchased this carrier because were planning to make a cross country move soon and wanted our baby, Merlin, to be as comfortable as possible. He hates traveling in the car and we were hoping this would make the experience more enjoyable for him.Since we bought it we’ve had it sitting in our living room open and available for him to explore. To our surprised, he LOVED it. It was a nice cozy spot for him to curl up in. Fast forward to this weekend, my partner and I decided to go on a weekend getaway 2.5hrs from home and thought we would bring Merlin along and test out the new crate. First of all, the crate itself is phenomenal! It’s large and roomy, I was able to fit a litter box on one side and still had plenty of room for Merlin, a food bowl, and his blanket. It fits perfectly in our backseat and didn’t move around when taking sharp corners or coming to a stop. It’s easy to clean, fold up and store once you’re finished using it. For all of those reasons we really love it and will continue to use it when we need to take the cat on the road.With all of that being said, if you have an anxious kitty and you're hoping the roominess of this crate will solve that issues— you may be out of luck. Merlin is the worst car companion, he gets extremely anxious and just screams while he’s in the car. We were hoping being in a larger crate would solve that, but no such luck (check photos and videos for evidence). He was able to use his litter box on the drive and I do think that helped his stress level a little bit. Overall, if you’re hoping this will fix car anxiety, it might not be the cure-all. I do however think this is a must have if you are planning for a long road trip with your animal!! We can’t recommend this enough!

Traveling with my cat used to be a nightmare. We’ve been together for almost 17 years and in that time I’ve moved many places (up to 11 hrs drive) and it was always touch and go on lots of drugs. Now, I can scale back the chill pills (or probably not use them at all and just stick with cerenia for nausea) and she’s so calm, which means we’re calm. I wish I had this thing back in 2006.There’s enough room for a litter box and bed. We place hand warmers under her bed for added comfort and she will nap almost immediately. She will use her box. And she will eat too. It’s sturdy enough to throw jackets on it.Only con is that it’s a little hard to fold up but that’s so minor.5/5 stars.
