This is a fantastic product. I’ve purchase the single 1 kg bags before.While the price looks scary, it is less costly than some grocery store cocoa powder options per gram (or ounce). For the quality and flavor, even if it were the same price, it is a fantastic buy.I really like this product.

This is my third bag of 2- double bag order. I use every morning in my coffee.This is ther perfect dark chocolate cocoa powder. Without sugar, it has still such a pleasant flavor.There's no sugar in it, but it has a smoothness and sweetness that I've never experienced in another cocoa.No bitterness, just beautiful chocolate flavor.BEWARE! It's addicting. It's also very fine. First two pack when I transferred it to a container,it wafted all over. Second two bags are not that fine and rather chucked up, but they break apart easilyand dissolve with stirring before I add hot coffee and stirring gets rid of any left after that.

I use this for mochas and it’s perfect; it has a robust chocolate flavor and it’s not at all bitter. I’ll use it next time I make brownies - I’m looking forward to an intense chocolate experience.

I will never be without this (I hope). Now I'm addicted to it in my coffee every morning. It makes the best brownies too. All the reviews say what I would say. It's so da*^ good. ETA: We have since tried the less dark (#2), I was thinking it would not be as good, but OH it is! I make keto brownies (nod to Gnom Gnom) almost every week with this. It is amazing. Just like the website says, the #2 is better for brownies and the #3 is best for truffles. Absolutely spot on. I think I have 4 bags of this stuff in my cabinet now, just in case....

I first read about this cocoa on Serious Eats where it was reviewed by baking expert Stella Davis. She reviewed it along with 5 other premium powered cocoas and rated this brand as her "personal go-to for years.." The cocoa is fairly priced and is only $3.00 more a pound than Hersey's Dark Chocolate which is decidedly not premium. This dutched cocoa is smooth and rich and makes the best hot chocolate and brownies that I've ever eaten and my family and friends agree. Enjoy.

Yum! I used to buy Hershey's Special Dark, but they changed their formula and it just wasn't special anymore. After much research, I decided to try this. Oh, my, so perfect. Very pleased. So far, I've just had a glass of chocolate milk. Looking forward to making my own chocolate (1 cup cocoa powder, 100g cacao butter melted in a double boiler, .25c honey, 1tsp vanilla, .25 tsp salt, cinnamon, curry, garam masala, cayenne to taste - mix, spread on cookie sheet on parchment paper, score with dull knife into 1"squares, refrigerate for a couple hours until solid).

This product is normally very rich deep, Dutch cocoa. Hence the name Brute. This batch, both bags, were extremely light colored and weak in flavor. Very very clumpy. Wasn't past the sell-by date but was definitely not the cocoa I am used to ordering. I am very disappointed having spent over $50 for my bakery but or says there is no return policy on these. Wish I could get a refund
