This is a great clamp on light - I use it under my vendors tent rather than a patio umbrella. It provides a fair amount of light that is a cool white color light rather than a warm yellowish light. The lights themselves can be directed easily. If you need something like this - get this one.

I needed an outdoor light for my umbrella and table and this was in Amazon warehouse deals for a good price. It has been a great item to have to enjoy the summer nights without having to have the outdoor lights on my deck. It is adjustable and charges fast for use the next night. I would highly recommend it.

Rugged unit, good brightness. Does a good job fitting on our umbrella pole. The hangers I'm not so sure about - they swivel which seems good, but when I used them, the unit didn't hang horizontally as it should. This was when hung on umbrella struts. I would think if you hung it from some other hooks it would be OK.

This is so nice and bright. It enables me to read comfortably outdoors after dark. Love that the lights can be independently directed. But it slides down the shaft of my umbrella. I lined the inside of the clamp with a strip of nonslip shelf liner, which so far does the trick. Love that it is rechargeable.

Nice and bright on it's highest setting for playing cards or board games. Having 3 brightness settings is a bonus, and my wife and I love that it's rechargeable with a USB cable or AC (no costly $ batteries to replace). We've only had it a couple of weeks, so it's too soon to tell how it will hold up over time... but it's relatively inexpensive, it works great, and is exactly what we needed :)

This is a very very powerful light. Easy to hook up. Love the three settings, and you will not need to set this on high because it really is bright. Use it on low to get long life I would say I get a good long weekends worth with out charging it.

We purchased a different umbrella light, it broke within days. This one has held up and the added bonus of being able to recharge the device is worth the extra money.

We really liked these until it came time to recharge them! We ordered one and liked it so much that we ordered a second one a few days later. When we tried to charge them, we discovered that the charging ports were both loose inside the plastic and so we couldn't insert the chargers. So unless we want to put in and keep changing batteries, they're useless now :(

A remote would have been good
