These are very expensive toilet seats, but they are good quality and easy to fit.

I purchased this to replace one of the same that the soft close function had failed. I didn’t have to replace the fixings so I can’t comment on how easy they are too fit but looking at the instructions they aren’t extensive. I was loathed to pay this much for a toilet seat but it is a quality item..solid and slimline and I wanted to replace like with like. As with many things, you do get what you pay for. I’m going to dismantle the old one as the soft close cylinders are repairable (apparently according to YouTube) one had ruptured and the waterproof grease leaked out. I’m hoping the new one will last longer than the 2.5 yrs the old one lasted.UPDATE…the toilet seat 12 months on is still in perfect working order. However, I have 3 loos in the house with these seats. They are very porous it seems. They stain yellow very easily. You must be fastidious with cleaning them after each use. They are expensive …cheaper seats don’t do this.
