Great customer service
Great customer service. I have been using straight razors for 40 years and I expected it to be razor sharp but it could not be sharpened adequately with just the strop. So I gave it a poor review. I was going to send it back or contact the seller but before I did, within a single day, the seller contacted me and made things right.Another nice thing: I like the look and feel of the wooden scales (handle). The thickness is tapered on both ends causing a nice wood grain pattern to be revealed. Very nice looking for an inexpensive razor.

You need a stone
This needs to be honed quite a lot before use. The strop that comes with it is short and cheap but expected that. I still ended up spending more for a Dovo and it was worth it.. I'd say it's not good for beginners like some reviews claim just for the fact that you will need to have honing skills from the start..

Not impressed at all
Out of the box it was sharp enough to shave. After one stroke it dulled to the point that it wouldn’t cut any longer. I used the strop and got the edge back and again, one stroke to dull. I had to finish with a safety razor and am very disappointed

Not bad, not perfect, good for what you paid.

Great product
Came sharp, shaves great and the strop comes in handy for all my blades tools and knives.

Rough dull edge.
The product claims to have been polished/sharpened with an 8000 grit but felt more like a 60 grit. The edge was dull and nicked so probably missed the sharpening/ polishing steps in the assembly line. Will be ordering some additional mid range stones (3k to 8k) to fix this edge properly and Polish it with a 10k and 15k.

An OK razor for first-timers.
This is a pretty good starter straight razor. It's pretty well made and balanced. The scales are surprisingly nice. The blade falls into the "OK" category. Was almost sharp enough to shave with out of the box but isn't perfect. The cutting edge is fine, but the workmanship on the rest of the blade I'd call "hasty."As others have mentioned, the strop is definitely the weakest link. It's quite short and makes it hard to get into a good rhythm. It's also not the best leather in the world. Pretty cheap and I'm kinda taking it on faith that it's actually leather and not some facsimile.Overall, a fine blade for the price. It's not going to win any awards but it's a great way to experiment in the realm of straight razor shaving. My only warning is to make sure you get the blade good and sharp otherwise you just won't have a good experience.

Terrible edge that’s won’t sharpen. Rusts easily.
I didn’t expect it to have a perfectly shared edge, but at least one that can be cleaned up with the strip. Not this blade. No amount of sharpening with a diamond stone will give it a good edge. After a few months in the drawer I took it out to give it auteur try and it was already showing signs of rust, not in the blade but on the spine.Avoid this razor.
