I have been looking gor a scrub this good for ages, leaves skin feeling smooth and moisturised which I have not been able to find with other scrubs, washed off easily, no stray bitty pieces that you keep finding, and smells lovely , a faint hint of roses but overpowering, I just wish it came in a bigger jar, will definitely be buying again and recommending to friends and family, Sanctuary stands no chance against this one. Love it!!!

This is a very effective Himalayan salt scrub from Malibu Organics - effective as it's coarsely grained. However, it contains a wide range of ingredients including fine Himalayan sea salt, almond, jojoba and lychee oils, organic aloe vera juice, hydrolysed collage and fruit cell culture extract. It claims to be '100% organic'. But don't go on to make certain other assumptions about the scrub as you'll see I did.Though this product is good for oily or acne prone skin, it's hydrating. Once the dead skin cells have been sloughed off, the moisturising elements of this all natural body scrub can penetrate - and after use I found my skin felt cleansed and moisturised. It could of course also be used as an exfoliating hand scrub to great effect and should allow hand creams to absorb better.The salt scrub is a deep rose pink in colour. The packaging here is fairly simple and no frills. It arrives in a cellophane wrapped card pack that's a mauve/pink in colour. The container is plastic with a white plastic lid - not eco-friendly but may be safer if you're using in the bathroom, especially if you've a hard floor. The top of the pot is foil sealed for freshness and inside the lid a manufacturing date - 05/07/2021 - is displayed alongside the long expiry date of 04/07/2024.Is this product vegan? Well, it doesn't say so - either on the pack or online. The ingredients would suggest it may be but it is a little ambiguous. The tub and pack front suggest this scrub is 'infused with Collagen and Stem Cells' and I'd initially thought this may all be plant derived in light of the product's other ingredients. However, just 'Hydrolyzed Collagen' is listed on the pack ingredients. In that it doesn't state this is plant collagen, I can only assume it must be derived from cows, pigs or fish. Which may matter to you quite a lot if you're vegan or vegetarian.This is an effective product - but I'd prefer the ingredients to be listed with greater clarity and detail. I only realised this scrub may likely contain animal derived content after I'd used it. And I've removed one star for this lack of clarity.

It also helps to exfoliate the skin, buff away the impurities and remove dead skin cells. This can help the skin regenerate faster, while also allowing your moisturizer to hydrate your skin.It is advisable to use body scrubs 2 to 3 times a week as excessive use can lead to serious skin damage. Apply a reasonable amount of this Himalayan salt scrub and massage it on your body in a circular motion. Do it gently to avoid redness and skin irritation then rinse it with regular or warm water and you feel clean and refreshed again.I am a fan of body scrubs and I must say that this kind of scrub is not safe to use in the face because there are specific scrubs that we should be using on the face. However, talking about its performance on my skin, it does a pretty good job actually. It is my first time using a Himalayan salt scrub and I am impressed. The smell is so good, I can really smell it in the bathroom right after I take a shower. It really removes dirt on my skin and it also feels moisturizing and not drying at all. It contains 250 grams of product which I think is good enough for about a months worth of usage, depending how often you use it.Overall, I am not sure if this is purely organic as it is not stated, but it has worked well for me and is reasonably priced at the reduced price of £12.99 at the time of this review.

The scrub works well as it’s quite corse so it helps to exfoliate well especially on your legs before shaving but I wasn’t very keen on the smell.

Packaging : Each box wrapped with clear plastic wrap. Jar sealed tight with aluminum type of thing and no leaks. Good for the gifts too.Color: Purple pink (my picture looks bit different than actual color may be the lights?)Scent : Gorgeous Rosey, Lycheey type of sweet fragranceTexture: It’s funny to say, but feels like kinetic sand. Smooth not rough at all, It reminds of me Malibu beach sand.( We live by Malibu)It is not type of body scrubs soaking wet in the greasy oil, this is much drier ( not completely) but you can feel infused oil after using it.Apply wet skin. It blends well on it and not scratchy at all, I hate coconuts scent so I’m glad it doesn’t have any like the other products.Over all I love it, and I will use it continuously!

I love this body scrub! The scent is so yummy. Makes me want to eat it. And it leaves my skin feeling soooo soft. I love that it has natural ingredients only, super clean body scrub.

I like the fine salt, and the smell of this product more than any other scrub I've had before. A lot scrubs some with oil added and this is a bit more dry. Once you add water to the scrub on your body it dissolves, and I would buy this again for that reason.

I'm the kind of person who doesn't write reviews but in this case I had to do it. WOW! Love the smell! So does my boyfriend :-) First product I have seen that actually uses real Himalayan salt and not sodium chloride! What a difference! Also perfect consistency of oil and salt! Leaves my skin super smooth! Maybe I’m crazy but I do feel that the Collagen and Stem Cells made a difference in my skin already... I will continue using it and see :-)

The ingredients are all organic without any unnecessary chemicals. Perfect amount of oil that doesn’t leave my skin greasy at all. it just melt into my skin with great texture to clean dead skins. Lush and youthful Lychee&rose scent, I wish they can make this scent in any skincare product. I’ll definitely need to order more before running outta stock again. Price is amazing for this quality. I’m very impressed and happy that I found my all time fav body scrub.
