TileSlim (2016) - 1-pack - Discontinued by Manufacturer

I’ve had my tile slim for over 7 months now and I absolutely love it. If I do lose my keys, it makes it very easy to find them. No more being late to work because I can’t find my keys! I would say I get the most use out of pinging my phone from my keys if I can’t find my phone. No more having your friend call your phone to find it, you just press the button on your tile and it rings your phone.Also have to say that it’s just a great looking product as well. sleek design, not too bulky to keep on my keychain; and it’s sturdy enough that anytime I drop my keys, it’s no problem at all.

Fit great in my wallet

The media could not be loaded.  We have a 5 year old boy with autism who is still non-verbal. He uses an iPad and iPhone (an old one of ours that doesn't have a sim card in it) to help him communicate. Unfortunately he loses them all the time. I still can't find the old iPhone 5 I gave him that he lost in the house somewhere and decided that I was done searching high and low for these things every night. So I bought this tile in hopes of making his phone easier to find when he puts it down somewhere, especially because I can't just call it (again, no sim card). So far it's been working very well! See my video for a test under a couch cushion. Here are the things you should know before you buy:- It doesn't come with anything to stick it to anything else. I used clear command strips for this purpose and they work great.- It is a little thicker than you might think it will be. Not a big deal, but definitely a little thicker than 2 credit cards (see pics)- If you want to use it on a device without a sim card in it (like I am), you can't use it to make the phone ring.- You really need to be in the near vicinity to hear it if it's covered by something (like a couch cushion). See video.- No matter what I do I can't get the app to allow me to change the little ring tone even though you're supposed to be able to. The app seems a little buggy to me.Those things aside, it really does do what it says it will do and I have had very little problem locating my sons device using the app on my iPhone to make it play the little jingle. In short, I'm really glad I bought this and over all it works as advertised! I paid full price for this and did NOT receive it for free or at a discount.

This thing...I could not emphasize what a saving grace this product is! I am the type of person who loses his wallet seemingly every time he goes out. I am also a Tile customer, bought the original soon after it was released, and loved it! So naturally I was eagerly anticipating Tile releasing a product like this. It does exactly what the original does, but with a smaller form factor. It fits in my relatively thin wallet (it's about the thickness of 3-4 credit cards) and has customizable ring tones. The app is also super easy to use from my iphone. I know the price might discourage some would-be-buyers, but I justify it by considering that if this product prevents me from losing my wallet even once, I am making money (not to mention the time it saves me every morning when leaving the house). I would really recommend this to anyone, as losing a wallet is such a pain in the butt, it's worth the $30 in my opinion

Product: Tile SlimRating: 3/5 (improvements needed)My wife purchased this for me as a present, but upon reading the specs (and several reviews from trusted sources), I'm somewhat disappointed by a key design decision as well as some potential performance issues relevant to my locale, and as a result I'll be returning it unopened.CONCERNS:> BATTERY (-1.5 stars): Here's an important design issue to consider - the batteries in Tiles are NOT RECHARGEABLE and NOT REPLACEABLE, and ONLY LAST 1 YEAR (approximately) before dying ... after which you're on the hook for a never ending subscription plan for replacement tiles. In other words, the MFR deliberately embraced a disposable (and environmentally unfriendly) design in order to become permanent fiscal parasites on their customers. Those with money to burn and who don't care about the environment may disagree, but I personally dislike such tactics.> PERFORMANCE (-1/2 star): Despite specs indicating 30-100 ft range, those figures are for ideal conditions with minimal walls/obstructions and minimal RF interference, whereas actual range performance in more physically cluttered rooms & signal-noisy conditions can be considerably less ... some have reported (and demonstrated on youtube) ranges as little as 10 ft, which is unacceptable to me. Combined with the muffling effect on the ringer of placing these inside a wallet or cellphone case, being able to successfully track, and hear, your intended tile may not be as easy as the rosy upbeat product description would have you believe.Bottom line: If you have bluetooth headphones that work well several rooms away, and don't mind having to pay for annual replacements in perpetuity, then by all means buy these, and enjoy, because they'll probably work well for you. Unfortunately for me, I live in conditions that are less optimal for ideal bluetooth range performance (i.e., lots of walls, room clutter, and a crowded bluetooth landscape), and I strongly dislike the battery design. The Tiles are a great idea, but I'm holding off until they (hopefully) drop the non-rechargeable annual replacement business model, and instead upgrade their entire product line with either rechargeable or off-the-shelf replaceable batteries ... and hopefully increase the range/volume performance (perhaps by switching to something better than bluetooth). If/when one or both (preferably both) of those concerns are addressed, I'll happily repurchase this and freshen my review accordingly.

Tengo TDAH y es muy común que pierda mi cartera con toda mi información, el tener este producto ha facilitado mi vida y mi mente. Cuando dudo haberla perdido lo reviso en la app y si está cerca de mi hago que reproduzca el sonido que es bajo pero audible y distinguible. En caso de que no esté cerca puedo ver en donde fue el último lugar donde la dejé lo que me deja súper tranquila.

Tile es la marca líder en localizadores Bluetooth . El modelo en cuestión, el slim, es muy delgado, orientado a llevarlo en la cartera, a pegarlo en algún objeto, yo por ejemplo se lo tengo pegado al robot roomba, que es muy propenso a esconderse, y me resulta super útil. . Últimamente Amazon lo está bajando de precio a unos 20 €, recomiendo comprarlo directamente como producto vendido y enviado por Amazon.Los Tile una vez emparejados al dispositivo, tendremos que crear una cuenta en la página oficial de la marca y el localizador quedará vinculado a nuestra cuenta. Si quisiéramos transferir el Tile A otra persona tendríamos que contactar con el soporte técnico de la marca, esto me parece un tanto atrasado y engorroso. La aplicación funciona bastante bien, el sonido del localizador es fácilmente audible . La marca también vende adhesivos y para pegar el localizador a un objeto, personalmente me parecieron muy caros y compré una cinta adhesiva de doble cara. La marca Tile es cierto que ha invertido bastante en publicidad. Sin embargo, intente buscar por Internet otro producto menos conocido que funcionará bien y no encontré nada más. . Así que de momento, mientras otras empresas se ponen las pilas, si queréis algo fiable, no nos queda otra que comprar un Tile original. Sobre la duración de la pila, prometen un año de duración, a mi me han durado más de dos años, , aunque siempre que abro la aplicación me recuerda que tengo que cambiarlo, ahí siguen . Pues lo dicho, si lo veis en oferta, y estáis detrás de un localizador Bluetooth, os recomiendo este sin dudarlo.
