This support is self assembly. When the package came, I initially thought there were pieces missing; I couldn't imagine they'd all fit together to form this support, but they did, no missing pieces! Once assembled (bit fiddly, bit's kept dropping off. Eventually it will all come together), however, word of caution - the 'stakes' are thin (ish) metal, coated in plastic but the the 'hoop' bits are plastic, so take care when clicking together. Also, when placing the support around the plant and into the ground, press the metal stakes, not the plastic hoops (I needed to use a rubber hammer to get it deep enough, so hit it gently but firmly from the top). Quite attractive once in place. (It was a little taller than expected, so I made x 2 smaller supports.....look ok.

Easy to put together. Looks good. Seems to support the plants well. Would have given it 5 stars if the description had been accurate. As has been said by others, it isn't metal. The small tubes used for joining the legs are the only metal part. Would buy again.

I needed a support for a rose which was growing in a bed of shallow soil, this support was excellent and did the job, it even withstood the recent high winds. I even have a spare support for the next project - excellent quality and value.

Disappointed that they are plastic and not metal as advertised, also picture shows that it has 5 prongs but instructions show only 4 and you only get 4 so not quite as round as I would have liked. Easy to put together how sturdy they will be in the garden I don’t know yet, hopefully will be ok!! The above photo is not mine but as advertised!!

Too fragile did not work Very disappointing

Was abit fiddly to get the posts together at the start especially as I was trying to get the plant in the circle on my own.I would suggest that you use it as the plants grow or branch out. I have 2 annual plants which droop, a large squirrel tail and a hardy fusha. I needed the squirrels tail more so I will have another one of these in the spring. Price is excellent as ones off similar thickness started from about £35 upwards.

Although annoyed to find that the description of "steel" and "metal" complete erroneous, I am nevertheless somewhat happy to keep these as very easy to assemble and ultimately do the job that I bought them for. They are good looking and stylish in my garden.
