Installation was very easy. What I'm most impressed with is the quality of the iOS application used to manage the WiFi controller. It is incredibly intuitive, robust and full of features. Best of all it is easy to navigate. I was able to setup all four of my zones, create "smart" schedules utilizing local weather stations, add sensors, enable amazon Alexa in less than 30 minutes. I can't believe I used to ran out back to a panel to the side of my house all these years in order to just kick off a certain zone on a dry day and then turn it off the same way afterward ( first world problem, I know ). This is right up there with a smart home thermostat in my opinion of devices that make life much easier.

I was really tired of using my original Hunter Pro-C panel. Turning the switch, pressing the buttons every time I needed to adjust or change something got old.This upgraded panel was a breeze to install. The directions couldn't be easier.Unplug the unitOpen the old panelPop off the ribbon cablePress the hinge releaseThe old panel is offPerform the steps in reverse order, the new panel was done.Swapped the panel in well under 10 minutes.I downloaded the Hydrawise app before the new panel was delivered.I had a problem creating a new account through the app so I went to the Hunter Hydrawise web page and created it from there, done.I programmed all of my zones, etc, before the panel arrived.Once the panel arrived, I installed it, joined it to my Wi-Fi network and entered the serial number of the panel into the app. The app connected to the panel, done......Now i can change settings on the fly, run specific zones, have it water more or less depending on temps, predicted rain....tons of options and all very easy.I should have upgraded years ago

Wish I had the for my irrigation system long ago, its a "no-brainer" for saving water. The HPC-FP face panel adds WiFi connectivity and allow you to finely control your irrigation system functions remotely through the use of the "HydraWise App. The great benefit is that this panel with the "HydraWise" App add some intelligence to the scheduling of when to water. For example if it rains a lot the day (using the rain sensor) before it's scheduled to water, it will skip the scheduled watering. Another example it will use local weather forecast and the probability (% user adjustable) of rain to also alter future watering schedules. Highly Recommended !!!!

This item was purchased for it wireless capabilities. However, when plugged in the screen never illuminated. I have followed directions and contacted for support. I even had a person that works on sprinklers attempt to install. He was not successful. We winterized the sprinklers and I attempted to finish install this spring. Still having same problems. I am very upset with this product. I need to return it as it was NEVER used. and does not work; I cant get a hold of anyone to help.

Easy enough for me to install it & then set it up on my iPhone & iPad to remotely run my sprinkler system whenever & however I need it to. No more working my way behind bushes & an A/C unit to manual turn the sprinklers on or off. I can program all zones, times, settings from my iPhone. I don’t have any sensors set up, but the unit uses a nearby weather station to predict coming rainfall/temps & historical data as well to adjust how long it waters or even if watering is needed. Very handy. I set the system to water on even days & so far that has been working fine. If we’ve had a lot of rain or if a lot of rain is predicted on the even day, the system will not run that day. I can also start or stop the sprinklers whenever needed outside of the normal program. I love this upgrade to my panel!
