This thing is GREAT.Now, this is a day-one review from someone who has never touched an airbrush before. I do a variety of hobbies and most of them require painting. I got pretty good with acrylic paints and small brushes, but I've always wanted to use a medium that doesn't result in brush strokes. I like using spray paint for this reason on larger projects, but smaller projects always proved difficult. Thus began my hunt for an entry-level airbrush kit. This was a birthday present to myself, and it came in on my birthday! I spent about 10 minutes unboxing the kit and looking around at everything. I plugged in the air hose, plugged in the compressor, attached the airbrush stands, and I examined the three airbrushes that came with the kit. I picked one of the pre-assembled fine-point airbrushes, plugged it into the hose, and added about 5 drops of red paint to the cup.As my finger depressed the trigger and slid it backwards slightly, THE PAINT STARTED FLOWING! I was airbrushing! I made a series of dots, lines, scribbles, and I even wrote my name. I tried some feathery, fluffy lines, and some super fine tight lines.I moved my airbrush over to one of my active projects and let the paint flow! Nope, I didn't do so hot and I screwed it all up. No worries, I'll get it all fixed up and ready for my next round of airbrushing.This is something you will need to practice with, and I look forward to playing with it. The compressor is super quiet (it can wobble around the table a little if it isn't sitting flat). This kit is super easy to setup and use. It works great.A couple notes. The paint is water-based and ready to spray. HOWEVER, be aware of what you are painting on if you expect vibrant colors. One of my projects was primed grey, and the airbrushed paint looks dull and semi-transparent. I may have to give it 5 or 10 coats to build up a comparable level of coverage as brush-based acrylic painting. OR, just prime your surface WHITE instead, and that should help the vibrancy of the paints.Cleanup took 2 minutes. I used the included brush cleaner, which worked fine, but I also used warm water since this is all water based paints. I also bought this cleaning pot, which worked like a charm! I think this is fantastic! I can't wait to try out all the brushes, paint colors, compressor PSI settings, etc. Well worth the money.Only time will tell if it will hold up. I'm not a full-time artist or airbrusher. If I use this a couple times per month, or a few hours per month, that's probably a lot for me. We shall see. Wow! I saw this COMPLETE AIRBRUSH SYSTEM WITH A TANK and that it was priced so low, I couldn't resist. It has everything you need to get started. And I'm new when it comes to airbrushing and have no idea where to start, but this set allows me to go step by step and hopefully, become an experienced airbrush guy. It has a set of airbrush paints and hose. It comes with all the necessary documentation including a color wheel. It also has 3 COMPLETE AIRBRUSHES. This tank and the cool running motor is xtremely quiet. I set the output pressure to about 19/20psi. It shut off after the tank filled and has been at 20psi for several hours now, and the compressor has not kicked on yet, meaning THE SYSTEM DOES NOT LEAN! Ensuring fit together well and they're is more than enough power to airbrush just about any home project. I can't say enough about this set and I'm excited too start learning. I would absolutely recommend this set to anyone who is just starting and the experienced too. ESPECIALLY AT THIS PRICE! This Master airbrush system is that good!

Quiet, easy to use, and great build quality.The compressor has no tank, so it has to run pretty much constantly when actually spraying, but as stated, it’s incredibly quiet, and has rubber feet that do a great job at damping vibrations. I use this in an apartment, and have no issue running it late at night. It’s actually quieter then the smoke absorbing filtration fan I use to catch overspray.It’s easy to set up and use, as everything connects neatly together in a pretty self explanatory way. Beginners may find that the hardest part about using this airbrush is cleaning up when you’re done. Which you should do every time. Simply unscrew and disassemble every part of the brush, and wipe excess paint off with a cleaning solution. Take care when cleaning the needle, as the tip is incredibly thin, and can be bent easily.Build quality is very nice. The fittings for the two gravity feed brushes (the all metal ones) fit very nicely together, and the threading and overall machining is very precise.The siphon feed brush (black plastic) is noticeably lower quality in terms of material, but after all, it’s injection molded plastic. That doesn’t affect the spray quality however, as the siphon nozzle is machined metal (brass I think). This brush is best used for thicker paints, or paints with metallic/metal flake finish, as the particulates won’t clog the nozzle as easily.Overall, this kit is a great buy for anyone who is looking to get into airbrushing, but doesn’t want to spend a large amount of money for a full on professional rig. This kit provides great and reliable quality at a reasonable price, so you can build up your skill and knowledge.Most airbrush equipment is interchangeable and uses 1/8 inch threading, so this kit is effectively upgradable down the line, and you could replace the compressor, hose, brush, etc as needed.I’ve already added some universal quick disconnect couplers to the three brushes and the line, as well as an additional in-line moisture trap at the end of the hose. Also supplied by Master Airbrush.
