Cajun Classic 8-Quart Seasoned Cast Iron Crawfish Casserole Pot - GL10485S

I bought this item for my father who is like me and loves cast iron cookware. He is basically a gourmet cook and has every gadget in his kitchen, you could think of. But, he doesnt have this! So, I thought great birthday gift for the man who has everything. He loves it! He said it is huge in size and can feed an army, but cooks well and can hold anything you plan on cooking from stews to fish to gumbo, etc. Goes from stovetop to oven, and back again. Cleans up great with some hot water and a stiff brush and a little seasoning to keep it rust free. I bought myself one and can hardly wait until it arrives!

Product was great but packaging was really bad- this could have resulted in mishap but thankfully, the pot held up inspire of the inadequate packaging.

Love that crawfish on the lid. Anyway, i use this casserole pot to make tuna fish casserole in. Anything fish. Be sure to add this one to your cast iron collection. It's really big and looks real good. Thanks.

The lid doesn't seem to fit very well and the cast iron seems very rough. I would not order this again. Considering returning it.

As with previous reviewer the lid does not fit. Poorly made. Returning it.
