Worked as designed
Solid design and quality. Used already on 3 hives. Would recommend.

Broke first few treatments
I spent one day taking off 12 supers. That evening I was all set up for the first of 3 treatments on the 3rd hive it wasn't getting hot anymore and on the 4th it had completely stopped working. I'm a electrician so I know how to be gentle with things like this. Now I'm in trouble everything is set up but no tool. Refund would be nice but the hard work to get to this and the time it will take to get a new one doesn't work out. I guess you just need to get the 500$ instavape!

Killing beetles and mites in hives
Easy to use and control. Better than a digger for bees

The metal hive rectagle twists
The holder for OA good size and metal seems good quality. The rectangle holder comes separate with a clamp and has to be attached by you. The clamp will not keep it from twisting when slid into hive entrance. Have to keep checking it as it twists with the weight of the handle and the battery cables. It gets too close to the frames and dumps out the acid. I am going to have my husband who welds fix it. I would not recommend based on that. I have used it twice on 4 hives and it was a PITA. Took me 3 times longer than it should. Also, had to balance it with peices of wood to keep it from falling because its not balanced. Putting my face down close to the hive entrance and risking breathing the vapor. I do wear a repirator, but normally place it and walk back. Had to babysit pn top of it. The metal is a thin peice of flimsey tin. It bends and won't stay straight. See pic.

Dead after 15 times of use
Dead after about 15 times of use and every use is about 5 min. The positive and negative become shorted.

BEEXTM Oxalic Acid Vaporizer - short life
This device worked and vaporized two hives but then failed, not delivering any heat. Since it now measures open with an ohmmeter, the heating element probably fused open. Requires a good 12V battery capable of delivering at least 10 amps for a few minutes. I do not recommend this vaporizer.

Alligator clips are very cheap
As far as ways to deliver oxalic acid to bee hives, I dislike this one the most. Burned a lot of bees. Queens hang out in there, so trap your queen, every 7-10 days. This item, I used one time. The ground alligator clip fell apart, but its past the return window, as I bought these in July, before mite treatment was needed, and it took a month to arrive. Cheap clips.
