Doesn't work
Does not work. Apparently it is not compatible with the newer Mac Operating software. I have Sierra. Seemed to install ok, but it will not run.

does not work with leopard OS X operating system for Mac!
Great software, except that once I installed Leopard OS X operating system on my mac, Logo Design Studio Pro stopped showing any previews and the capacity to work in layers is gone. I am now waiting, and have been for over two weeks, to receive the updated version from Macware. I was told it was still not ready for release. And I don't know when I will receive! Disappointing! And I need it to work now!!! I was not aware of this before purchasing the product....

Buyer Beware. Four months and no Yosemite fix
In October I contacted Summitsoft Corporation noting that my copy of LogoDesign Studio Pro no longer worked after upgrading to Yosemite. On their Facebook page they said they were working on an update. Today (Jan 27, 2015) I receive an email advertising LDSP at a special price. They have continued to advertise their product for the Mac since October and their Facebook page is full of disgruntled customers who can't get the product to work on their Macs. No where in their advertisements online or in emails do they mention whether LDSP is compatible with Yosemite. They advertise 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. If you believe that, just read the customers comments. On MacUpDate the software requirements state Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later." Beware the "later" as of today doesn't include Yosemite. This is unfortunate because previously I was quite pleased with the software. Because of their unreliability I have moved on to Logoist.

It's pre-Beta software. Be warned! Do not waste your money.
In all the years of using my Mac and using some useful, pleasing-to-work-with Macintosh programs (about 10 years), I have NEVER used a product that has such low standards. The company seems not to know what customer service, software quality is. I am surprized that this company markets Mac software at all!First of all there is no demo at the company website. I was told that they would put a demo link "next week" - that was about more than a month ago. The program looked promising... (I have to give them credit for their press release skills and marketing skills though - precisely the reason I fell for it!). I bought the software. That's when the trouble started! At first, I thought it was my iMac (iMac/G5/2GB/Leopard) but then I tried on my MacBook Pro/IC2Duo/2GB/Leopard, same story there. I don't know how the company actually puts out this software as commercial software! Some menu commands don't work at all, once I placed the vector object on the canvas I could not move it, neither could I resize it, holy mackerel! In the prev. version if I resized the raster object placed on the canvas, it would turn into a jagged mess! It keeps quitting/crashing!- like I said I have never seen a software product that is of such poor quality. I talked to the company and was about to get a refund, they convinced me that the bugs are being worked on and there's a new version coming out. So I get that version, now the vector objects don't show up on the media palette at all! So the company publishes an SVG importer. Now this is three updates later, the program quits on my G5, I can't select the object I just put on the canvas, can't move it (mouse or arrow keys). I mean the list goes on! I am beginning to wonder if these people are actually using a Mac to produce/test their software!!Finally I had to do my stuff in Apple Pages - Eventhoughh it can't handle SVG/Vector graphics, atleast it works! Finally I got a refund.Stay as far away from this product as you possibly can. This product should not even be sold anywhere. I also noticed that it no longer shows up on Apple Store shelves, just before that I was wondering how Apple ever kept such poor quality stuff on their shelves...

Crash and Burn
I've never had a piece of software crash as often as this thing does. I'm lucky to go 5 minutes without it kicking the bucket. Saving file? Crashes. Select all and resize? Crashes. Open a new template after you have already started working? Crashes. Click the tool icons in rapid succession? Crashes. I haven't been able to get any work done with this application. After many hours of trying I finally got a basic logo exported to show a friend, but then I couldn't save the master file anyway so I'm off to recreate the work. Stay away. I'm on a Mac Mini running OSX 10.9 with 8 gigs of ram and a 256g SSD.

Logo Design Pro must have been designed by a two-year old!
I have never purchased a software I regretted buying more than Logo Design Pro Studio! The total cost after taxes was nearly $60, and what a waste of money that was. I spent the first two hours trying to figure out the program as nothing is easy to do. The so called help menu is worthless! The box makes claims that you can easily put together a design in minutes...right! Just try to change a color on an object without the program shutting down on you a few times. MacWare claims this is the number one selling logo design software out there. Maybe b/c it's the only one I found in several stores, or maybe it's b/c other consumers failed, like myself, to do review searches before they purchased it. Look at the reviews...no one likes this program!

Junk Software
Purchased today at an Apple Store. This has got to be the worst software that I have ever tried to use. It has locked up on me at least a dozen times. For the short times that I was able to do something with it, I discovered it is almost impossible to use. You can click on an item and another item gets selected. I cannot pick two items. I have to go to edit select all. Of course, I don't want all to be selected.I didn't check reviews beforehand because I figured it was on the Apple Store shelf. In addition to being totally disgusted with the software, I won't be trusting Apple quite as much in the future. We'll see what they can do for me in terms of a refund. I would stay away from this one. Just FYI - I am running Snow Leopard. 10.6.2
