They are labels, they work with my label maker, and the price is good. I have never had a problem with any of the cartridges, and will definitely order again!

To be fair, I haven't used any of the genuine Brother tape, so I can't give you a direct comparison. But so far this label tape has worked perfectly. It turns out readable bar codes on 1/2" tape with no problem at all. The adhesive is strong. The split backing is a great feature that really saves a lot of headaches. I would buy this again.

Great Product. Great Price. ONLY WORKS when cartridge is prepped correctly. Make sure you turn the spool (the one with the cardboard directions in it) in the direction of the arrow printed on the cartridge not as printed on the cardboard directions. if you turn it in the direction that is printed on the cardboard directions it will break the cartridge. For the cartridge I have you need to turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE. I do not know and it does not say how many turns or how tight to turn it.I was able to salvage the broken cartridge by taking it apart and fixing the broken tape but it was very challenging and I lost about a foot and a half of tape.I would definitely recommend order from them.I would have given this 5-stars if the directions were better.I would still Highly Recommend over the brand name tape due to price.***UPDATE*** 10-20-16GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Anycolor contacted me immediately regarding the cartridge. They are sending a replacement and informed me that they are currently in the process of updating the cardboard instruction insert to make the instructions more clear.I will be ordering from them again in the future.Updated to 5-Stars.

These tapes work just fine. The only difference from the Brother TZe tapes that I can suss out is that there are instructions to tighten the tape the first time before putting it into the machine. Brother tapes ship with a piece of plastic that keeps the tape hub from moving during shipping and this version doesn't -- that's the only reason I can imagine tightening would be necessary. It's not a problem and keeps another piece of plastic out of hte landfill. Also, I find these tapes are just a little more difficult to peel -- the slit is just a tiny bit harder to find -- but again, not an impediment. The labels themselves look identical, so it's a great deal and I'll be ordering more.

So far so good. I've gone through 3 of these rather quickly, but that's because my kids do a lot of printing. They last about as long as the OEM, maybe a little less - hard to say. They are recognized by the printer and produce good prints. My only complaint is that I've had to reseat the cartridge a couple times. To be fair, this could be a printer issue and not a cartridge issue, hard to say.

I have experienced their customer service and it is the ultimate. There is a paper guard with instructions on how to pretension the spool before use. Unfortunately the atypical recycling symbol next to the spool has the arrows turning the opposite direction as the diagram printed really small on the far side of the cardboard protector. After messing up 2 cartridges I emailed the company and got a response within 15 minutes! Unheard of !! I sent them the pictures and explained what happened and they replaced the cartridges with no hassle. Once I corrected the spool pre-tension technique the ribbons worked flawlessly and I can not tell the difference between Anycolor and OEM. Will definitely use again. It is good to know great customer service is still alive.

I like this brand just as much as Brother's brand, and it's much more affordable. Highly recommend.

This tape works just fine. It sticks well, yet can be removed and replaced/ adjusted if needed. The print is clear and you can't beat the price! I've ordered a couple packs of these to help with relabeling a collection.
