Little Star Toys Rainbow - 12 Piece Wooden Stacking Toy

This is a lovely rainbow set - cheaper than the big brands and I love supporting small businesses. I’d say that the only flaws is that it’s a little rough to touch and the paint has rubbed on to other pieces. I questioned with owner who said this is normal. So personally I will re-paint and seal them as the different colours on the wrong ones bug me. I feel that this should be in the description somewhere as I wouldn’t have paid this much for them had I known they don’t seal the paint. But visually pleasing and feel quite sturdy.

Looked OK when it arrived. It was a bit unevenly stained and rough in places (so not quite the same standard as the Grimms rainbow, which we have a small version of). Unfortunately with just a bit of play, it now has several marks where the colour has transferred from the darker pieces. It does fit together well though. We purchased this one as the arches are a bit wider than the Grimms ones, meaning the Little Star peg people can stand in them with the semi circle pieces on top.

We love our rainbow as both decor and for play. It's open ended and has so many ways to be used. We pair it with our semis and its stunning what you can build. Highly reccomended for all ages - that's children and adults.

Love this rainbow, very sturdy and have played for hours everyday so far. So many games to play. There are some imperfections already but I knew this would happen being wood. I bought with the semi circles but the kids don't use them as much, they mostly like the rainbow. We have made tunnels, the smallest piece is a mouse called Zula, they make houses, a roundabout and see saw, pretend pet enclosures all sorts. Good price too. Service was very good from little stars on their Facebook page. Very pleased

Ordered for birthday present. The blue arch was inadequately painted with a significant chunk of bare wood. Appreciate it’s painted to allow the grain of the wood to come through and that’s obvious everywhere but this was a missed spot. Will send this back as faulty and order again as I love the item. Hopefully it’s a one off.

I received this yesterday, I used to £5 off code which made it a real bargain. Unfortunately the postman must have dropped/ thrown the box as my rainbow bit damaged but I still managed to have a play! Little Stars customer service is brilliant, they were soon in touch to sort everything out and apologise for the inconvenience.The rainbow itself is beautiful, we do have a grimms rainbow but I would say this is just as lovely! The price makes it much more affordable . There’s slight difference between this and grimms, but possibly in a good way?! The arches are all pretty much identical thickness whereas my grimms looks a little like it was carved by a drunk person! I do like the cheeky little pink at the bottom. It stacks really well and feels well made.It’s a lovely item, I’ve had a play with it myself and can see my children will love it for a present . Can’t wait to see what else little star bring out!

I ordered this toy for my 18 month old grandson. he absolutely loves playing with it. He uses pieces from this toy with his other toys. For example he will use the blue pieces and make pond for his wodden animals to drink from. He asks his parents to build all sort of structures. His parents have a lot of fun with it too.Unlike painted colour this stained colour will stay on even after rough use.It is used and enjoyed so much I bought rainbow semicircles and rectangles. I can see all of them having a lot of fun with these
