Best vinyl restorer I have used, but not without a few minor concerns
First the good news...I have used a variety of vinyl restoring products on my car...Back to Black, Armor All, etc. and none of them did a good job and would only last a few days...This product was, by far, the best I have ever used. I applied it 4 months ago and it still looks flawless. It brought back the deep black color instantly and without streaks or blotches. It seems to me it is essentially a black dye-infused chemical that penetrates the vinyl and also puts on a nice surface finish. Some minor down sides...the product, no matter how much you wipe it off, will stain your hands black if you touch the vinyl for several days after applying it so do NOT (ever!) use it inside the car where your clothing can touch it. Second, the product slightly runs after rain (if it rains within the first 3 days after applying it) and it will adhere to your car's paint...you will need to spend a little time with a mildly abrasive polish getting the product off your car's painted surface after the first rain. It does not penetrate the paint, but it did take me a little time and elbow grease to get it off. Finally, the price...while, as I mentioned, this is the best product I have used for this purpose (perhaps the best on the market), but the $40 price is a bit steep (if they sold a bottle half the size, and at half the cost, it would still last for years). All in all I give this product a superior rating of 4 1/2 stars (rounded up to 5). It is the product to use if you are detailing your car for a longer-term shine, and definitely to make the car's black vinyl look as good as possible.

This stuff is amazing!
Of all the products that claim to restore faded trim back to the original black, this is the first time I've ever had real results. Do yourself a favor and wear rubber or nitrile gloves, it'll stain your hands.I started by using an industrial degreaser diluted 50/50, and taking a stiff nylon bush and scrubbing the bejesus out of the trim. Regular was with dawn and then wiped dry with a microfiber.Shook bottle very well for about 3 minutes, and then poured generously onto a microfiber sponge. It soaked in almost instantly and produced a very deep and rich black. I waited about about 5 minutes and then wiped down with a slightly moistened and clean microfiber rag. There was very little product that came off, but it essentially buffed and evened out the appearance of the trim to a very consistent and uniform appearance. The vehicle was left to sit the next day in the sun, and there was no change, and the following day was rainy, again no change. Trying to "wipe it off" was useless, it doesn't "wipe off" like other products. I believe it's more of a stain or ink, so this should last a long time. Best product I've ever used for restoring black trim.

Works as advertised
I purchased this product to retreat the sun-greyed plastic components on my ram truck. It came with a small bottle and a bigger one. The small bottle took care of 75% of what I needed. The larger bottle took care of the rest. Below are my notes and suggestions for using:1. Make sure they area you will be using the product is clean, dry, and preferably inside a garage.2. Wear gloves unless you want your fingers looking like Black Death3. Take your own before and after photos.4. Rub the product in for several minutes to ensure it is consistent.5. If any of this stuff gets on the paint, even on black paint or your windshield, clean it off immediately with alcohol and a paper towel.Note: the liquid that came from the small bottle was jet black, but the liquid that came from the bigger bottle wasn’t. The liquid in the larger bottle looked more like motor oil. The results from both bottles matched, but I thought it was a little weird and wanted to make note.I would have given this a 5 star, but the instructions were kind of junk, and the packaging looked like it was printed at home. Packaging matters.

This blew every other product I’ve used out of the water. Yes, you should definitely wear a good pair of gloves and wear clothes that you don’t care about getting stained. It goes on so well. At first I was being very careful, but I loved the results so much I just started pouring over every piece of plastic on my car. As the sun started to go down I decided to do my Jeep hardtop. Boy am I glad I went for it, and it looks great even though I was going fast. Def recommend going over it after a few minutes with a rag but also go over it again the next day to get rid of some of the wet spots, especially on handles. We’ll see how well this holds up but right now I’m in love with this stuff.

I was so amazed by this product. Looks great and long lasting.
This product is fantastic! I bought a few months ago and waited to write a review just to see if it would last. After a few snow storms, rainy days and many car washes still looks great. I’m very happy with this product and would buy again. Make sure you wipe it down after you finish so that way you don’t have too much run off when you wash your car or rains. Even after wiping it off I had some residue on the pain but it was very easy to take off. I would highly recommend it for old faded plastic on your Bumpers, Mirrors, Grills, door handles and even running boards. You will love it too. Check out the before and after pictures. Your welcome.

Doesn’t stay long
I used this on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler after I saw a YouTube video about it. Looked sorta good at first, but was gone after one wash. My keep I guess is just too faded out to bring back to life.On to find some short fenders 😂

Great product! Worth the effort!
Applied to my 2007H2 yesterday, these truck have a ton of plastics. It took them from grey and faded to looking better than brand new. Not too shiny, not too satin, just right in my opinion.Application is easy if you follow the instructions very carefully. I wore nitrile gloves while applying and got zero on my skin. Any of it that hit the paint was immediately wiped off with ease.I did the H2 and my 2012 Corvette grand sport with less than half of the sample bottle they provide. A tiny bit goes a very long way!It rained today, 24 hours after application and while the Corvette is not being driven the H2 is out and about, Ill update this once I know how it performs in the rain.
