I had a good quality, fairly new blade that was slowing down, smoking and burning the wood whenever I used it. I took it off and even though it wasn’t but a couple weeks old, it was covered with a hard sticky substance that resembled molasses. I put it in the tray, sprayed it down and let it sit a few minutes and then even the hard stuff came off very easily. I did the other side, (all together it took about ten minutes total), and then remounted the blade. It cut like it was brand new again… no more slowing down or burning the wood. I spend a lot of money on blades and believe that this will save me a bunch. I am very-very happy with this purchase, and highly recommend it to everyone experiencing the same problems with their blade.

If you have any sawblades or router bits with caked on pitch and gunk, you NEED this product! The collapsible silicon tray is perfectly sized and works beautifully. The Trend cleaning solution is magical. I had an old saw blade that I used and completely abused over 30 years ago. It was so gummed up with pitch it wouldn't cut Kleenex any longer. I stuck it in the back of a cabinet where it sat for the last 30 years. I pulled it out to use as the test subject for this cleaner. I put it in the tray, poured on the cleaning solution, let it sit for about 5 minutes and you could see the gunk floating off of the blade. After another 5 minutes I used my fingers to rub over the blades, which got the rest of the gunk off. That blade looks brand new now. I very highly recommend this product - it really works and you will love it.

I used this product to clean circular saw blades of 7.25", 10", and 12" diameters. I sprayed the cutting areas while the blade was in the tray/basin, let it soak a few minutes, then brushed the carbide tips with a brass brush. I removed an embarrassing amount of junk from my blades. The parts look great. Time will tell if they cut better.The "lipped" perimeter of the silicone piece allows it to be flatter (like an edged tray) or flexed upward to become deeper (like a small basin). The basin would allow you to soak circular blades without spilling. The lower configuration helps when you are trying to brush the tips of a 12" blade.My only suggestion for improvement: There is a "numb" at the center of the tray/basin that perfectly fits blades with a 5/8" arbor. It would be wonderful if the nub were "stepped" so it could also hold a blade with a 1" arbor (like most 12" blades) more securely in the center. When brushing a 12" blade, there is just enough clearance from the lip of the silicone tray to get to the blade teeth. When a 12" blade with a 1" arbor slides on the 5/8" nub toward the lip while cleaning, there is almost NO clearance.Not a big deal. And the set-up worked perfectly for my 7.25" and 10" blades. But an opportunity for improvement for blades with 1" arbors.And one tip. I'm not usually sensitive to chemical irritation. And I'm not sure what is in "Trend CLEAN/500". But just after starting the cleaning process, my hands started to have a slight burning sensation. I put on gloves (like I SHOULD have done in the first place) and everything was good. If YOU have sensitive skin, you may want to use gloves with this cleaning solution.

I soaked 4-different blades and each one came out great. I had blades from ok to real bad build up. All looked god when I was done. Solution works pretty fast really did not need much soak time except for my bad one, dark brown burns on it. After soaking for 30-40min it was clean as the 1st one. Now they are ready use or sharpen.

The tray is really handy. The cleaning spray is very effective. I found I only needed to spot spray the blades and bits, not soak them.

Great container that contains the cleaning spray and junk that comes off the blade with easy cleanup. Good brushes and cleaner as well. Yes, you can probably make your own tray and such, but this was very convenient.

I was looking for something that was low cost and that would make cleaning my 10" say blades easy. This die exactly that. I'm a happy camper.
