Even after all these years, this series is still good
I remember devouring the early books in this series but stopped reading crime books for a while. Anyway, this one came up on Kindle Daily Deal and I took advantage of the offer. Alex and Milo are still going strong and if anything, they're an even better team. The author still writes a great story and I was sucked in. Milo calls Alex in after a strange murder scene is discovered. 4 random victims are weirdly posed in death and Milo is trying to unravel it. Great story and I look forward to catching up with this duo again.

Great new Delaware & Milo book!
We love the great relationship between Alex & Milo and their interaction is special. The storylines are always very addictive and educational. Milo's team is also special, very fun to read about them in action.

Great book!
I got a little confused at times trying to keep all the characters straight. I've never had that happen before so I'm not sure if it was the way the book was written or my frame of mind while reading. I'm a long time Kellerman fan so this isn't my first rodeo with this author.

A Work of Art
Kellerman weaves a mysterious tapestry in this complicated, yet engrossing tale of surreal characters and locales. Once started the reader will plow through a puzzle that includes a plethora of suspects leading to a shocking conclusion.

Kellerman is back on form
After two books in which all the mystery-related (as opposed to ongoing series) characters were people you’d never, ever want to spend time with, I’m happy to report that the latest entry in Kellerman’s long-running Alex Delaware series has at least a few reasonably likeable people in it. To be sure, most either are minor characters or are only reported as likeable by others, because they’re already dead when the story starts—but it’s enough of an improvement that I’ll continue reading the series, which I was considering dropping. As usual, psychologist Alex Delaware and his chow-hound police lieutenant friend, Milo Sturgis, unravel a bizarre murder through a series of interviews, peeling back layers of involvement and motivation like an onion. The murder has not merely one but four victims, very different from one another, peculiarly posed in a limousine that’s discovered in the driveway of a rented mansion on the morning after a wild party. Like all of Kellerman’s books, this is a page-turner, slipping smoothly from scene to scene and pulling the reader along. I recommend it to all Kellerman/Delaware fans, especially those who, like me, were disappointed in the last couple of books, and to fans of mysteries that depend more on personality than on gore or forensics.

Amazing
I have always loved the Kellermans. Jonathan's Milo/Alex duo work. They both have unique personalities that are fun to peer into. The cases they become involved in are twisted and turned just enough to be interesting but never so combobulated that they confuse the reader. This one is a treat. Looking forward for the next from both Jonathan and his talented wife.

Okay mystery
Picked this up a while ago as I like both Alex Delaware and Milo Sturgis, though I'm not a devoted fan of the series. This book was okay and managed to hold my interest despite some rather farfetched leaps of imagination in the story. A posed quadruple homicide confounds our team of detectives and one psychologist; Milo gets a lot of help from some younger detectives in this one. There are some odd but interesting characters such as a gifted but weird teenager (who I'm guessing will appear in some future book). The story jumped the shark a bit at the end but it's a quick read, good for airplane ride or the beach.

Another well written novel from Kelllerman.
If you are a fan of the series, this is another good Milo/Alex mystery. My only criticism is that there are a few too many many coincidences where Alex spots a person or event key to the plot when he's out for a drive. In a city the size of Los Angeles I just find that hard to believe. Also rather questionable is how Robin comes up with a key clue. If Kellerman keeps this up he can just write Milo right out of the books. Who needs the police when the 'amateurs' can solve the crimes?

Almost impossible to read from the beginning.
The speech of the first chapter was remarkably disjointed. I was most interested in the one-star comment from Ms Leichty. She says that the only good part was the joke about the man crossing the desert in search of water.Since I had already heard the joke elsewhere, it removed any further interest on my part in reading the story.

Amazon is a great one stop shop!
I love reading Jonathan Kellerman and I can always find my next read on Amazon for half the price of new. I always order the "used" versions and most of the time its a brand new paperback. Yes, I like paperbacks!
