Buying this means you are getting old
Great value, never have to buy lint traps again. I'll be honest - there's really nothing else to say about these. They catch lint, help keep your drains from getting clogged, and prove that you've irreversibly crossed the line from "fun-loving cool person" to "boring-ass grown up."Customers who purchased this item also bought dad jeans and sensible shoes.

Plumber recommended. Worth it.
These do a great job filtering out lint, dog hair, and whatever else might be in with the laundry. I use to use those plastic mesh filters that took about 6 months before they were blocked with lint and had to be replaced. I also use to think I was getting a good product that held up over the long haul. Not !!! What I was getting was a filter that was letting dog hair and small pieces of lint go down the drain, only to build up ( over time )in the drain line beneath the concrete floor . I also got to pay the plumber ( $250 ) who had to snake out 25’ of line, pulling out wads of lint, and hair. The plumber did say that the plastic filters do drum up business for him, especially in older homes before PVC pipe was used. He suggested I try the wire mesh filters, but warned me I would be changing the filter more often, and this would catch more debris before it got to the drain. He was right, I change the filter every 2 or 3 weeks. I do a lot of laundry, I was the blankets my dogs lay on every other week , sometimes more. These blankets give off a lot of lint and hair. In a household under normal circumstances ( with out the 3 dogs ) you probably get 4 to 6 weeks between filters. These things are worth it, $32 a year versus $250, and the hassle of not doing laundry until the plumber can get to your house.

Same quality as the smaller packages from local stores at a big savings!
I have been looking for these in this bulk size for a while now....why I didn't think to look for them on Amazon I have not a clue. These appear to be of the same quality as those from grocery stores or alike for so much less and work well in my laundry area.As soon as these arrived, I popped one on the washer outlet hose and did a load of laundry. As I had hoped, these work just as well as the others I was using. They appear to be the same as those expensive 2 packs I was buying from the local store. They are just as easy to put onto the outlet hose and catch any link coming out of the washer.I will edit my post if I find that they are more difficult to remove when it is time, but I'm thinking from what I see they will be just fine. Now I just have to get a container to put all 49 remaining into to keep them together until I need to change out the current one.I need this container because the package is a very light weight cellophane type that was already breaking/ripping when I received my package.

the product is nothing like the picture.
the product is nothing like the picture. its a cheap fish line netted end. i have had these break and all the lint would clog the drain. miss leading picture. now i have 50 of these, good thing they dont last long because i dont want to risk 1 breaking open at the end and clogging my drain again.

Doesn't do the job
The mesh of this lint trap is too large not doing the job it's meant to do. I have used another brand lint trap for a number of years. After using this trap and finding a considerable amount of lint in my basin I compared this mesh to the mesh of my usual trap. I found the openings in the mesh of this product to be twice the size of my usual trap. Until using this product for lint trap I never had to clean lint from my basin. As you know, lint will accumulate in the drain pipe and eventually clog and that's not what anyone needs. I will return to using my previous lint trap product.

Mesh Hole Sizes are LARGE
Would NOT recommend. Very cheaply made. The mesh hole sizes are at least twice as big as the ones I currently have. The bag was ripped open when I received the item so can't return. Wish I could. Would NOT order again.

Larger mesh hole size = less lint trapped
Purchased this from DR Quality Products. These are about the same size as typical lint traps but the mesh size is quite large and the lint is collecting about 50% slower than my previous lint traps meaning more lint down the drain. I know some people suggested doubling these up but that's too much trouble so I'm just living with that.

Fits well and comes with so many!
I like that you get a lot of these. They are in bulk so you get each one for about $.40. Very cheap. Be careful when handling them. The ends can be sharp when you unroll each trap to use. Clamps are just zip ties. They are quite long, about 8 inches unrolled. I just put them on. Based on our usage, we usually need to change them every 3 months. So I'll check back in then and see if it catches anything. My drain pipes are pvc, so these aren't really necessary, but just to be safe, we use them. If you have cast iron, which can rust and create points where fibers can snag onto causing a blockage, it might be a good idea to invest in something like this.

Larger than other Lint Traps
These are much larger than other Lint Traps, so don't need to be changed as often. More economical than smaller Lint Traps, even though the purchase cost may be higher. We use Lint Traps to prevent drain from getting clogged with lint. Washing machines used to have a cleanable lint filter, but that seems to fallen out of fashion - too bad.
