works for little over two months
well little over 2 months of daily wear, few times around the lake in a kayak, and it no longer reads BPM, pressure, or O2 level.. leds on the back act like they are not getting enough power, and using my phone to try to track anything says Monitoring timeout..

Review for those without tech savvy skills.. like me!!
Bought for a specific purpose, I admit- im still not very well versed with all its features- but, learning as we go! Unfortunately, I have a daughter who fell victim to Covid-19 through contact tracing. Now, 10mo. post isolation.. she struggles greatly with physical side effects. At 23yr old, varsity collegiate athlete at the top of her game.. she has been plagued with chest pain, SOB, racing heart, dizzy spells, mostly when engaging in higher physical activity. Dr/trainer requested she begin tracking and recording everything: rigor of workouts, vitals, onset and severity of symptom..uh, how??!! We found the only way to do this with accuracy was to use a smart watch. Any others in this predicament may gain that detailed data to help them as well.. After all, knowledge is power and dr. need all info to help diagnose and create a plan for moving forward. This band fits really well and comfortable- after trying a “female” smart watch (thinner band) we found that connection was not solid- I’m guessing due to size? Having this larger face and band eliminated our contact issues- and the fact it’s lightweight and surprisingly not constricting is a total bonus!! This watch does a solid job staying connected while wearing 24/7 (sleep, activity, water, scrimmages or otherwise!) Not to mention- it’s pretty cool in its futuristic transformer vibe! Yes!!! It does feel a bit masculine but, it works universally + functions for either sex! tbh, its sort of a tough, kick butt look! (we call this my kiddos “Ironman heart..” ha! smile where you can, right?!!)Surprised to see how much data this truly can absorb and process via ones smart phone. As mentioned.. we’re still navigating all of it’s super powers. But, the basics are there: heart rate-pulse, pedometer, activity, GPS tracking.. and sleep (yes!! believe it or not- sleep matters so tracking can show signs of underlying issues- its good info to know!) I recommend reading instructions- but, keep them handy!! In play for x3wks. and we still reference everyday. **Hack: take photo of the manual with your phone- that way info is with you any time/place.. The photo has proven so handy!!A few quirks to mention are: the actual face display can be sensitive and changed to a different feature without intent! If there is a way to keep this from happening- we haven’t found it? Which leads me to the other issue.. I understand technology advances and definitely above my pay grade- I freely admit. But, I like things I own to be fully understood after reading the manual. This gets an 85% in that department. I absorb some of the blame but I also realize there are more of “me’s” out there.. and this technology is NOT in our wheelhouse! So, a more direct approach on every feature and how to use could have been better. For those tech savvy- I don’t foresee any issue.. the above are my reasons for deducting x1 star. Otherwise, you've got a solid device to help in so many ways- who knew!! I hope this info can help those on my level.. be safe!

Nice smart watch, one annoying feature.
Review Update Jund 8, 2021As I said in the first entry of this review there is a feature allowing the user to change clock faces. Nice feature but it is way too easy to initiate it. I emailed the company but they either didn't understand my problem or they side-stepped the issue. At any rate I find this feature annoying. It may have something with the way I wear the watch but in any case I would like to disable that feature.Battery life is quite good. As a watch I really like it and the list of clock faces is great. It counts steps showing them on the clock face. The list of things it can track (swimming, yoga, spinning, etc.) is impressive but I'm sorry they didn't include kayaking.Heart and blood monitoring are interesting features that should be used with the understanding that they are less than accurate. Still it is interesting to have blood oxygen percentage and blood pressure monitoring.Overall I like the watch.Initial Review June 7, 2021I don't normally do this but I felt like giving an initial impression with this watch.Right off the bat I liked it because of the great, bright, colorful display. Then the wrist band, so often disappointing, feels very comfortable and stays in place. The band looks nice too.The watch charged quickly and seems easy to navigate before I looked in the user manual. The battery seems to hold a charge well too.I need to figure out how to change from Celsius to fahrenheit. I found the control, changed it, but neither the watch nor my phone made the switch. Update: I learned to change from C to F must be done inside the weather feature, not the watch setup.I have to see how to turn off a feature. If I cover the face of the watch the display comes on allowing me to swipe to select a new watch face. The trouble is if I just fold my arms the watch gets covered by my arm and it goes into that mode.Other than those two minor things I'm really liking this watch (and I have six different smart watches).More content in a few days...

Inexpensive Smart Watch
Pros:1. Nice selection of dial faces.2. Long battery life of five or six days on a charge.3. Pulse and Blood Pressure Monitor.4. Synced easily with my phone with the recommended app.Cons:1. Instructions are hard to decipher.2. Very easy to put it into dial-changing mode making it impossible to tell the time.3. Limited functions compared to other smartwatches.4. Have yet to get messages to work.5. The weather function is completely wrong though it does show the correct town. Not sure where they are getting that data from.6. The stopwatch feature pauses when the screen goes to sleep rendering it useless.Overall I'll probably be investing in a better quality smartwatch.
