I have learned that this perfectly simple pearl speaks for itself. There is no need to pay more to get fancier settings. This is a stunning but not intensely dark black pearl pendant that reminds me of the more expensive ones that were sold in the pearl shops in Papeete, Tahiti. I have gotten many compliments on the pendant, but my favorite one was "What a beautiful Tahitian pearl you're wearing!" The chain is so delicate that it's easy to get knots in it for which I cannot untangle, but so far, it hasn't detracted from the pendant's look. I also have three styles of black Tahitian pearl earrings and a bracelet for everything from dressy to ultra casual events. I enjoy teaming them up with the pendant for a great total look that enhances almost any outfit-I love my new style!

I love the pearl. its so beautiful. The chain however is very thin for this beautiful pearl. it really didn't do the pearl justice. Had to replace it with one of my old chains.

The pearl is very beautiful and of good quality, full of luster, so shinny it is reflective. True to size described. The chain is very thin, i substituted it with my own thicker gold chain, it looks much more substantial and expensive, i would recommend doing this because this is a beautiful pearl and deserve a better chain to go with it.

Absolutely beautiful necklace! I bought this as a gift for my sister for Christmas! it is a perfect size. not to small not to large. very eye catching. when she opened every women in the room was jealous of this gift! I would recommend this to anyone looking to give a great gift or just looking for a great fashion piece.

The pearl is of inferior quality, with very little sheen/pearlescent. It is a murky grey/yellow, without any green or blue tones. (Additionally, it is very round, not the oval/drop shape pictured. If the quality were higher, the shape wouldn’t be an issue.)I am adding to my review. While I still consider the quality of the pearl inferior and was unhappy with the round shape, I give the company credit for reaching out to acknowledge my dissatisfaction. They were apologetic.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my DIL and she loved it ! It is beautiful and looks well made. It's the perfect size and looks great on. Very pleased with my purchase.

I LOVE this pearl. I am so happy with it. My only problem is that the chain is So frail I had to buy another chain and have a larger bell placed on top to allow more space for a better chain to go thro. $$$$ costing considerably more money. But I didn't want to take the chance with breakage and loosing the beautiful pearl. I'd previously bought black Baroque earrings and they are great together. Love it!!!

Great pearl, I am very pleased. My only gripe is that the chain it came with was pretty cheesy, replaced it with a black leather cord. Would buy again.
