Meri MeriRainbow Fringe Happy Birthday Banner - 8' Party Garland with Excess Cord

I love this birthday banner and have used it for 2 years now. We put it up for everyone's birthday in our household and then I take it down and neatly fold it and place into a ziplock bag for storage. As expected, some of the fringes have creased over the years, as they are just tissue paper, but they still look good after 2 years of use. If something happened to this garland I would definitely repurchase. I love the fun colors and that the fringe really adds a lot of depth to the lettering.

Took it out of the box on the day of the party and it only had one fringe garland. I am returning. Super annoying.

I usually get balloon garlands for birthdays, but I've always liked Meri Meri and I wanted something cute and potentially reusable. This is not it! Because the fringed squares are made of paper, they don't stay flat and lovely. From the way they were packaged, half of them were bent. The banner looks rumpled -- not in a fun way, just in a cheap way. The glittered letters are also not attached to the pink squares. You have to line it up yourself.Everything is attached via cheap ribbon (the glitter letters are just attached on a string) and there's no way to attach it up to the wall attractively. I just tied the ends of the ribbon around some nails, but it's by no means chic or expensive. Worst of all, the letters shed, A LOT. Just taking the letters out of the box caused a small shower of glitter onto my countertop. I paid $20 and even that was too much. This is a $5 - 10 garland, at most. I'm returning it the first chance I get.

I haven’t opened it yet but can see some defect or damage to the banner. Amazon packaging did have a corner opened to where water could get in the package.

Takes 5x the amount of time to arrange and hang and still looks messy. Not durable - will not be able to use it again. Waste of money. I will think twice before ordering something made by this "cute" brand again.
