Replacement blinker for Madjax
I purchased this in hopes to quickly replace a faulty blinker switch on my Madjax Ultimate Plus light kit. The blinker itself has the same connectors as the Madjax and also allows the use of my high beams! Unfortunately, the harness and control box are not s direct replacement due to the 9 pin connector and the Madjax 12 pin connector. However, I have no doubt that you could make it work since the Madjax does not use all 12 pins. For the price and quick delivery it was well worth the money not having to deal with waiting for the warranty parts.

Good option, seems to work so far.
Installation is easy, if your lights are already installed. The horn is loud, and the kids love it. When I was switching the lights around, may have installed the lights backwards. Kids showed me how loud it is.Only thing I havenβt figured out is how to wire it so the turn handle will control the on/off for the lights. Also would like to figure out the wiring so you can use a different brake switch, I am not a fan of the pad on the brake pedal.

Quality made harness and conduit
This harness was perfect fit for my Yamaha, once I located the connector the 9 pin plug fit and blinkers were activated. Youβll need a hacksaw to trim off the wheel conduit, and some some good UV resistant zip ties to secure it. I would also recommend a step bit up to 1 3/8in to install any accessory wiring through the plastic for mounting any usb or aftermarket switches. I used environmental splices to pick up after market lights. Zip tie and secure. The only suggestion I have is to make a harder rubberized foot pedal switch. This soft rubber will wear out quickly. Overall though for the money it was perfect for my needs!

Easy install for blinkers, hazards, horn and brake pad.
My Yamaha 48v golf cart already had the headlights and brake lights installed, so the 9 pin connection harness was ready to go under the cup/ball holder dash cover. For the steering column cover, I had to cut about a 1/2 inch off the bottom with a pair of shears. It snapped over the steering column and did not require any additional securing. I then connected the horn to the purple wires under the dash and mounted the horn with the 2 metal plates included in the kit. (I had to come up with an additional bolt since the kit only has 2 nuts). The horn was really loud, so I put a cotton ball inside the horn and covered the horn opening with tape. It has a much more pleasant sound now. For the brake pad, I removed the floor mat and floor plate and connected the brake pad to the red wires. I lined up the brake pad on the cartβs aluminum brake pedal and pre-drilled the screw holes. For the hazard switch, I drilled a single hole in the dash panel next to the existing light switch.Everything works as expected!

Easy installation
Installation was very easy, just make sure you have the nine pin wire loom on your cart and it will basically be a plug and play installation. There were only two areas that needed extra installation processes, the brake switch and the horn installation. I was able to install everything in about an hour and now have a road ready cart.

Do no buy if you do not have LED rear lights!
The brake switch will only handle LED rear lights. Your brake lights will not work unless a relay in installed or you fashion a jumper (brown wire) as shown in the picture. The horn is obnoxious, I may install a nicer sounding horn. As usual, if you have a dc to dc converter, you should get a 48 volt relay, to shut down the converter when the cart is off. This unit is cheaper than many, it is a good value as long as you do not mind the pedal switch, most of the stoplights are a mechanical switch tied below the floor to the linkage. The problem with a mechanical switch is it gets out of adjustment and your stop lights keep on unless you install the 48 volt relay or some kits have a timer to shut off the taillights. Takes some time to stuff all the wires in place in the back of the dash. The light switch on the turn signal does nothing, maybe in other kits are different. Overall, a good value.
