Inexpensive, but very sturdy
I bought this stand because I have a feather banner with a spike for outdoor use, and wanted a stand that I could use for indoor events. Very convenient and easy to unfold/fold up - Sturdy, too. My only complaint - and I have found this with other manufacturers - is that NOWHERE in their ad does it tell you how much this stand weighs. Sure - it's metal, this, that, and the other thing, but is it too heavy for me to lift? All the ads need is to say - "This weighs approximately 5 pounds." Other than that, I am completely happy with my purchase.

Just what I needed to put the patio umbrella back into use, without the table.
Like the product.

Easy to use
I have a large umbrella that I keep in my classroom for outside activities. This stand is perfect as it is easy to open and collapse for storage. My students are easily able to use it and set up the umbrella as needed. If it is too windy though, it would help to have a sandbag or something sitting on it. I just put the umbrella pole inside the arm of my folding chair and that helped keep it more stable.

Solid
Even better than shown in description, the feet have holes for attachment.

Just okay
The quality is good with the exception of the fabric, which fades fast. The color didn't last through one summer before fading.

Not Sturdy
This is a photo of the brace with an outdoor umbrella placed. It appeared this way as soon as the umbrella was set on it, which shows its poor quality. I highly doubt it will hold for much longer. I would not recommend this product for anything weighing heavier than 10 lbs.

The right style for our new table
Needed a small base to accommodate new patio table and chairs. Found this one and decided to give it a try. It looks like it will do the job. It’s pretty light weight, but just needed one to stabilize the umbrella. Other choices were small ones that required anchoring into concrete…not a preferred choice. Satisfied!

It’s an okay fix for tricky tables
We have a windy roof deck and a tricky table with a very low bar that stops most umbrella stands from fitting. This was a great solution! It was easy to set up. However- the pole tube is already shedding from sliding in the pole at the first use as you can see- does not bode well for longevity. Also- after putting down the legs- it’s not flat to the ground- I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be this way. It still fit luckily, but it’s less stable since it is lifted in the middle. It’ll do for us, but in most cases this would not be stable enough to hold a regular table umbrella as a stand alone.
