I bought the straps for deadlifting as I'd finally hit some weights where I was starting to struggle to maintain my grip. These do the trick - softened up quickly, so easy to set in place on the bar and very comfortable. I use them 2X a week and they show no signs of wear.

This helps me raise my weight when lifting because I don't have to rely so much on my grip strength. It's pretty great and I don't know how I went so long without it. They're also very comfortable on the arms and don't look too bad either.

I ordered the Rip Toned straps to help reduce some of my over gripping injuries. I got exactly what I expected. I've used them in the gym and they work well. These are solid, well made, and seem quite tough and strong.If you’re looking for something more or less than weight lifting straps, like car parts or bacon, then don't order these lifting straps. These lifting straps are not edible nor can they convert gasoline into vehicle motion. While they have a similar shape and length as bacon, you shouldn't eat them. Also, while they may be the same color as my tire iron these straps can't used to remove lug nuts that hold tires on a vehicle. Also, these straps won't lift the weights for you. I heard the next gen straps may lift the weight for you so you can sit on the couch and eat chips while the straps put in the work. Not sure how far along in the design phase this is and I can neither confirm nor deny this is true.Summary:These are great lifting straps that can be used to help prevent over gripping and the associated over gripping issues while weight lifting. If you’re looking for more or less than solid, well made, black lifting straps then these are not for you. These straps have been through everything. I had a pair in the past that lasted me years, and it was hanging by a thread until one day it snapped. I decided to buy another one, and I can confidently say that it still holds up well. I am able to use it for deadlifts, and it withstands multiple lifts of 600+ pounds. It may not be the best option available, but it is affordable, and if it does break, you can easily purchase another one.

I bought these lifting straps in 2017 and I loved them. They were durable, comfortable, and supplemented my grip during heavy deadlifts and prevented my callous from ripping off and helped me surpass some PRs. They also worked well for lat pulldowns and any type of rows. Within the year of 2017 I lost my straps or they were stolen from the gym and alas, I was strapless and never bought new ones. Fast forward to 11/2020, more than 3 years later and I was looking for new lifting straps to buy when I came across these and forgot completely about the lifetime replacement warranty. I emailed Rip Toned asking if lost/stolen straps were covered by the lifetime replacement warranty and Mark Pasay replied and said no it was not covered, but was SO GENEROUS and decided to send me a replacement pair this one time and I was nearly brought to tears at his kindness. Not only this event, but seeing his name on answers to the 1000's of questions Amazon customers ask regarding his products shows he really cares about his products, but even more so, the consumers as well. Support people like Mark Pasay!

I bought these straps back in 2020 and have been using them since. I go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and use these straps for pulling exercises and some raises. These were my first pair of straps and probably the last ones because of their awesome lifetime warranty. Over the years my straps started to fray and come apart. I remembered that Rip Toned offered a lifetime warranty and I had registered my straps so I decided to email their customer support. Joanna from their customer support team responded the same day and after some pictures and order information was exchanged they mailed me a new pair at no cost! I was thinking about trying a different brand of straps but won't be bothering with anyone else anymore. My only regret was getting the same color but I'm sure if I said I wanted a different color they would have obliged. Maybe once this pair starts to come apart I'll see if I get a different color.

I lost my previous set of straps and thought I'd be okay without some. But I found that I just couldn't keep a good grip while doing pull ups and suspended ab work because the thickness of the pull up bar at gym, combined with my own stubby fingers, made it pretty tough to string together pull ups or leg ups without having to stop and regrip. That stop is a killer when you want to keep your abdominals working. So I went and bought a pair of the Rip Toned straps.I really love them. They're strong, but not stiff, especially after you work them in a little. What I really like is their length. My previous straps were on the short side, and while they helped, they'd occasionally just slip right off the bar or barbell or what have you because I could only wind them once around. Rip Toned straps allow me to wrap them tightly around the bar at least three times, allowing me to get a very nice, secure grip without fear of slipping.All in all, the straps have been perfect. I have complete confidence in their strength to hold the weights that I need (including my own body weight). That, and the price on Amazon was pretty outstanding. If any of my friends or family are looking for weightlifting straps, I'd definitely recommend.

These straps are not as wide as I would like, so they don't disperse the pressure enough and dig into my hands a bit. Maybe they would work better for someone with different size hands, but I have found other straps that are more comfortable.

These straps are very sturdy and work perfectly for heavy lifting.I use these for olympic barbell lifts, in particular when doing overhead presses and split jerks etc.I'm completely new to wrist straps so it took me a couple of tries to get used to wrapping then round the bar, but once I got the hang of it, it was absolutely fine.If you need a little more wrist support during your lifts, I would definitely recommend using these.Delivery was prompt as listed with Amazon Prime.Great supplementary information in the product package - i.e. links to videos of how to use them properly etc.Would highly recommend!
