Designers Impressions Oil Rubbed Bronze Recessed Toilet/Tissue Paper Holder All Metal Contruction - Mounting Bracket Included

We just wrapped up a bathroom remodel. We don't have much space between the vanity and toilet for a standard paper holder and there are no other good options for mounting a standard paper holder. We've been living with the TP roll sitting on the corner of vanity for years but with the remodeling complete we wanted a permanent TP storage solution.We started searching for options and decided that a recessed paper holder mounted into the side of the vanity would be perfect. We also wanted an oil-rubbed bronze finish to match the other fixtures in the bathroom.We are very pleased with this paper holder. The finish is beautiful. The photos are a very good representation of the color and finish quality. The entire holder is metal - including the rod in the center.The online description does not specify but the holder does include with a wall clamp bracket.Installation was easy though I had to take extra care to avoid scratching the side of the vanity when I cut out the installation opening. I covered the side of the vanity with blue painters masking tape. I measured and marked for the opening using the template supplied with the paper holder. I drilled holes at the 4 corners then used a jig saw to cut out the opening. I removed all the masking tape and used the supplied screws and clamp bracket to mount the paper holder. The flange around the edge of the holder covers the edges of the cutout by almost a half inch all around.The screws that fasten the holder to the installation clamp are extra long. I think this is to allow you to attach everything together and slip the clamp into a wall opening. Since I was mounting in a vanity I had access to the back side so I attached the clamp bracket inside the vanity cabinet using some small screws. Then I cut down the screws using a hack saw so they wouldn't extend too far into the cabinet.The only negative comment I have about this fixture is that the spring in the center rod is extremely stiff. If we're careless changing the roll it could easily slip out of our hand and rocket into the wall, cabinet or toilet.

I absolutely love this! I had to cut a hole in my wall which took some time. However, after the hole was cut, it took approximately 3 minutes to install this. I’m a 29 year old stay at home mom, so I’m not some experienced carpenter or anything. It really is beautiful and sturdy. The entire unit is metal (even the spindle!) It has a gorgeous satin metal finish. It DOES come with the bracket which you need to mount it in the wall. This is a great value for the money.

Good quality, easy to install.

Nice looking, but it is too small to hold a full, new roll of toilet paper. The paper roll is so tight/heavy against the bottom, that pulling the paper tears off one page at a time. And, when the role gets small, the screws in the back show. It would be much more attractive, if small chromes screw caps would be available.

I love this in-wall toilet paper holder.  The difficult part is cutting the hole.  Once you cut the hole, it was very easy to install and looks and functions great.  I didn't like my existing holder.  It stuck out from the wall, I couldn't keep it level, and the toilet paper kept falling off.  I used a stud finder to find the stud in the wall to the left, used a level, pencil, and ruler to mark a 5"X5" square, and then used a drywall saw to cut out the hole. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I used this product when I was flipping a very small house with a very small bathroom. I mean, this bathroom could not afford to have any unnecessary items sticking out anywhere. The fact this product could be sunk into a wall was a life saver. It went in fairly easy, looked great, and was sturdy. I would totally use it again for a tiny space.

Perfect color match for my fixtures.

Beautiful brushed nickel worked perfectly as an update item for our half bath. We did not have to cut the wall since we were replacing an older piece. We will be doing the other 2 in the house and I will be purchasing this product again for those. You can’t beat the price point for the quality. Seems sturdy and durable. I’ve seen these run up to $150/piece. So more than happy!

This was the perfect match for my other bathroom fixtures.

Love this.. it’s simple, easy to install and best of all it has a deeper well which holds the double/triple toilet paper rolls nicely. When I purchased this I was having a hard time finding back accessories for my bathroom. Then I found this and a few others that just weren’t my style or in my budget. It’s well worth it.

I'm happy with my purchase. The item is nice. Finish is attractive. I don't think the roll bar is all metal, it appears to be plastic, but it's grey or silver and looks fine. The unit was quick to install. The price seems a bit high for what you are getting but I want to have something like this and they don't have it in my local home improvement stores. This one seemed to be a decent price compared to others online.
