Can you use the linux universal g code sender?

Spindle connector polarity not specified. Can voltage be changed from 24vdc to 12vdc?

My old board sent 24v to the spindle. This one reads 24v across the terminals but when i actually hook it up, im only getting 7v. Is there a reason?
