faults fixed and now a great bag
I've purchased this item, because it is ultra light and can quickly be squeezed into a suitcase or even a jacket pocket. I like how it folds into itself, I also love the versatility it provides. but...It lasted one trip. Technically, it didn't even last the entire trip. We took this sac for our two weeks trip in France. At the most, the sac carried the weight of a 2 litter bottle liquid. 7 days into our trip, the strap snapped at the seam. We didn't even abuse it. Perhaps the company should double or triple stitch the strap seams. Is it super durable like it advertised? Not at all.I am pretty disappointed, the search for an ultra light weight and DURABLE sac continues...----------Update: Jan 05, 2014I was contacted by the company a few weeks ago and was offered a replacement. It's been years since I threw away the old bag, I was positively surprised by the company's gesture. We took the bag over seas for 3 weeks and it didn't break and it lasted through out our purposeful abuse. The bag's extra compartments over the other brand makes things a lot easier. If I have to complain about something it would be the terribly designed logo patch. But that's just a cosmetic complaint. I am glad the replacement bag had met my original expectation.----------Update: Nov 14, 2014The replacement bag lasted 3 trips and now has a few tiny holes beneath the logo. I can only assume the holes were caused by the umbrella I carry around. Back to my trusted REI Flash 18. I really really gave this bag many chances unfortunately it failed me time and time again.

Returned (Customer service made it right!)
Edit to add: So after I returned the product customer service contacted me and informed me that they were aware of the problem that I mentioned and had corrected it, and offered to send me a new one for free. I received the new pack a few days later and the buckle does seem to be a little thicker in the center piece, though it still looks thinner than I would expect/like. I am just going to take it easy with the straps and try to remember to never pull too hard on them. The pack works really great for carrying things that I need during a long bike ride. It is light weight and does its job very well.I would definitely recommend with the excellent customer service from the company, and would buy other products from them as well.Old review: I liked the size of the pack and felt it would serve my needs perfectly. Unfortunately they used a very poor quality plastic piece for the buckle and it broke as soon as I tried to adjust the strap. It's a shame really... for perhaps a penny or 2 of savings?I will look for something similar.

Great Ultralight Daypack
If you are looking for a great ULTRALIGHT day pack than this is it. At 6.5 oz, there is only one lighter pack on the market, however, this pack, by Hammock Bliss, has a few features which make it worth the extra couple of ounces. Side mesh pockets for water bottles and an inner zipper pouch are great features that Hammock Bliss has incorporated into their product. This pack is great for backpacking - you can use it as a stuff sack and then use it on a day hike from your base. I use it for travel when I don't want the bulk of a larger day pack. There are always compromises made for ultralight gear. Although this pack has no padding to protect items from rubbing your back (and you wouldn't expect any padding in an ultralight) I use a jacket or extra shirt folded against the interior of the pack to act as padding. Great pack, great weight and great price.

strap ripped
I like the overall design and its perfect for a small day pack, but the quality is sub-par. One side of the back pack strap ripped off on the first day of use. Was not abusing it either, just normal use. incredibly disappointedUpdate 12/12/13: changed to 4 stars after I received the new pack and have used it many times with out any issues.

Disappointing product!
I am very much into ultralight backpacking so I was eager to buy this backpack. Unfortunately, I was not happy with it and I sent it back for a refund. The fabric seemed very cheap. I knew there was no frame to the backpack and I intended to use my sleeping pad in order to give the backpack an internal shape. I wasn't expecting the backpack to seem like nothing more than a thin, fabric bag.

Smaller than it looks
I wanted to like this bag, but I don't like the drawstring closure of the main compartment or the elongated shape. The closure leaves some gaps at the top so I worry about walking through dripping water. The bag itself is very narrow and it is cumbersome to arrange the contents of the bag to my preference. The capacity simply feels very small, the specs be damned. The fabric is thin so I would think twice before packing things with edges in it.My sister got the Eagle Creek Packable Daypack. It is much nicer in quality and ergonomics for about the same size and price.

Awesome!
Wonderful daypack that fits almost all my needs! My only small complaint is that the water bottle pocket is a bit too short and should go all the way to the bottom of the pack, so when you set it down, the water bottle doesn't tip the backpack over. Absolutely worked great during my trip!

Good pack, zipper broke
Great pack! Light and durable. Minus one star because inside pocket zipper broke after one week of daily use. Highly recommend if you can put up with not being able to zip inside pocket.
