Once I found the right size, I was very happy with these. It took me several tries. Were it not for the Free Returns, I would have given up. Note that the odd numbered sizes are Junior sizes and run small for junior sizes. The even numbered sizes are Women's sizes and run large for Women's sizes. The size 13 is about 2 sizes smaller than the size 14 and there is no size 12. Make sure you sit as part of the try-on process as there is definitely a limit to how much they will stretch. I got the bleached color which is a great summer color and goes well with light colored tops.

Attention all plus size ladies that need a little tummy control: these shorts come INCHES below my belly botton and do not do anything to flatten your stomach. They fit true to size, but seem to dip strangely in front. I'm a size 18 and I ordered the 18. The legs fit perfectly, the back doesn't gap, but the front is strangely low and almost gaps like no other pant I've worn. I'll wear them, but only with loose tops because the front doesn't compliment anything. The dark blue is nice and they are not too thin but not too heavy. They come right to the top on my knee (5'7"). If the band came up as high in the front as it does in the back they would be perfect.

They fit, but there’s too much room in the waist and not enough in the butt so my crack or underwear hang out. I guess I need to wear a belt with these, which I find uncomfortable. I bought a size 15. It’s also a little tight in the thighs. If you’re bootylicious or thick thighed too I wouldn’t recommend these shorts for you.

I ordered these for my trip to Jamaica. My thighs are big and they rub, so I wanted some shorts long enough to not cause chafing but not too long because of the heat. They fit fabulously! So glad I ordered the 14 instead of a 16. I have a few more trips coming up, so I'm going to order these in in different washes.

I got 2 pairs - black and light blue size 1 (I am 5'4 and 116 lbs). Comfortable, fit fine, but black is smaller and tighter in comparance with lightblue. Still fit to both, looking to buy capri pats of same company :)

So I alwaysss have trouble finding shorts because I have a big butt, big thighs/calfs and a smaller waist. These were perfect, just enough stretch to fit without bieng baggy. There true to size28in. Waist36in. hip36B bustI got a 5, and it fit great. Will buy in every color.

These are great!! The fabric quality is amazing. Perfect amount of stretch and softness. The gray color is really nice. Super comfy, great length and comfy fit in the waist. I ordered a one and it fits true to size. I am 5'3 and 97 lbs

I'm an older gal looking to find a great pair of jean shorts and these would be it. Super soft very comfy. I read several of the reviews and ordered one size down (I usually purchase size 20 or 20plus). When they arrived I took them out of pkge. and tried them on ~ way to big for me. Since they are a stretch jean (spandex) I knew washing them in hot water would shrink them a bit but because heat destroys spandex I decided to return them for a smaller size. Just so you know, I'm 5'4" tall and they came down to right above the knee. The light blue color I chose is in my opinion true to the pic shown. So yes I only gave them a 5 star rating because ladies... we all are different ~ for some they'll be too big and others just right. But I believe these are a great choice. I will be getting another pair (maybe the gray) in the future. Thanks Amazon for offering free returns on this item.
