I recommend taping this in place before committing. I used them on unfinished, not sanded pine. Adhesion is strong. I screwed up the layout and ended up with a not so lovely design. It is ok. These are lighting up the inside of my trailer. I put a piece of gorilla duct tape about every 10" just in case. So far, no sag. Also important to make certain you can reach the on/off button and be able to change the batteries. In a 5'x8' pitch black darkened trailer, these light it up amazingly well. I have used the crap out of them. I bought three more sets. So nice not to depend on a plug of any sort. I use Amazon batteries because they are guaranteed not to leak. In 10 years, I have yet to have any leak.

It was not the brightness that I expected at all and it stopped working right away

Ordered two sets. Was going to put them on the bottom of a cornhole set. One set didnt work, so i peeled back heatshrink and ground wire was broken off strip because of the worst soldering Ive ever seen. Repaired that...and like others have sadi...the adhesive is too strong and wont peel off without ripping the led strip. I would look else for better leds.

When I peeled off the protective strip to expose the adhesive backing, 90% of the adhesive came off the product. (In the photo the white parts are the adhesive). Without adhesive it’s pretty useless, going into the garbage.

Not as bright as I would have thought. And they dimmed after using for a couple of hours. The adhesive was not very sticky, they kept falling down.

Broken before i tried to install it. And i was just as careful as i could because i read it on another review that it was kind of weak.

Great concept. Horrible execution. The tape backing pulled the connectors apart, so only one LED was lit.

This is not bright enough , very dim.
