Just whatever padding your butt (two "T"s) may come equipped with. BYOBP.

Q: does it come with protective pads in it?

Yes. Velcro attachable hip pads. Soft knee protextion.

Q: Please, we need a straight answer regarding knee pads. Is there an attached pocket that can hold an inserted knee pad purchased seperately?

No it’s just bulky in that area for one to be worn underneath but I still wear a one piece outside

Q: If i wear a size 30 in jeans then what size shoild i get in these?

30 in the fly pants should work fine. The fly 30's are actually 30.5-32 waist. They have a adjustable buckle on the front as well as a velcro tension adjuster on the side.
