No leaks and well-constructed
Purchased this for the shower. Easy install and no leaks. I read some reviews on these leaking, but when delivered I checked the welding and put water in it to see if there were any leaks and there were none. Solid construction with good welds and a good thickness for the gauge of the metal.

Update to: Seams NOT SEALED, seems unreliable, seems dodgy
[UPDATED] I was contacted by the seller after my 2-star review posted.They offered to replace the shelf. The replacement arrived. They were not able to inspect it before I received it. (Which means they couldn't send me a 'perfect' replacement model). The new niche was welded much better (much), with only 2 small areas I'll want to seal with caulk. I'm convinced the first niche some how got out of the factory by mistake. Its almost as if the original one was temp-welded and skipped the actual welding stage. I'm happy because this is a quality product as long as the seams are properly welded.[ORIGINAL REVIEW]The good - thick material, square construction, nice surface and lip. The bad -THE issue is the seams are not consistently welded and not water proof or vapor proof. You'll either have water leaking into your walls or, at minimum, have vapor causing mold and other problems. It's a shame because otherwise, this is a step above the competitor's shower niches. See photo. All of the 'welded' seems are shoddy.

Good quality
I liked that its thick grade metal. Pretty heavy. I don't like that the corners are not sealed so make sure you seal them before installing in a shower or it can leak into your walls

Heavy duty and great quality
I’m not sure about how easy the install was being that the tile contractor took care of it. I was impressed when the package showed up because of how heavy it was. These are heavy duty great quality. I assume they will last for a very long time. Maybe forever.

It’s a niche
It’s a great little niche, solid one piece construction. Easier than doing a tile niche.Time will tell how long it’ll last - but easily replaced.

Pricey for what it is
Looks decent enough but for a square box of metal, it’s rather overpriced

It leaks.
As showing in the picture. Add about half an inch of water and it starts to leak in no time.Amazon should pull this from market place.

This item is super heavy and it’s meant to be put in as is, without tiling on top!! Not what I was looking for!
