I am well pleased with the quality of this radio. There is a small instruction sheet included with it and a charging cord. Also included, there is a short lanyard attached to the radio that has what looks like a key on the end of it. When 'plugged' into the back of the radio, the key becomes a stand. The battery has to be put inside the radio. My battery arrived fully charged which is nice in getting the radio setup quickly. I had a micro SD card prepared. The songs were in folders by album. Since, there is no scramble mode to listen to the mp3's, I am going to setup another micro SD card with the songs all at one level. This will play the songs by title thus scrambling the artist and type of music. In order to switch from FM radio to mp3 player, one has only to press the mode button. The sound is amazing for the size of the speaker. At $16 price, I am well pleased at the value. Update: 2/27/2017: The digital music player plays .wma and mp3 files. It plays them in a serial order. While you cannot 'shuffle' the order, you can used the number pad to skip to different starting points in the play order.

I wanted to play music in my room without using the TV or even my tablet. I didn't want anything huge. I found this and it's perfect. It's small...about the size of a cell phone and light. I downloaded my favorite music to a flash drive and then played it. It's great. The sound is actually quite good and it doesn't sound tinny. I don't care that it doesn't shuffle the music or list the songs. I already know what they are. I haven't used the radio portion yet because I only wanted to play my MP3 songs but I have confidence in it. I don't know how it can be improved...It's small, lightweight, sounds good, plays the files and it's inexpensive. I like the lanyard too...perhaps I will use it while out walking. I'm extremely pleased.

I was looking for an device that I can use for multiple reasons. This device was an excellent choice! I can listen to the radio, the station come through clear. I can use it for audio books and music. The ultimate features of this device are, I can use an USB and SD card reader. Great sound, user friendly and cost effective. I'm glad took my time to research; only to find this product was sufficient and what I needed.

I've reviewed this item earlier when I received my initial order. This is my 2nd order because I liked the small size and all the features the Mini radio/media player had. Plays music stored on both small TIF cards and regular sized USB sticks. Wished it had someway to view the song/Artist listings, but for the price you get what you get. Overall, I am very satisfied with the operation, sound quality, and the amount of time you get on a single battery charge..

I bought this for my grandmother for Christmas. I wasn't aware of the fact that it had a USB charging dock, but I was able to give her the "block" to plug into the wall (not included). Out of the package, you're only able to charge on the computer. She loves it and has no issues- portable, small, easy to use.

Very nice radio but buttons push too easily so it's difficult to carry while biking without accidentally changing the station.

Picks up the Channel very well and they are good and clear. Is a strong radio for the money

Small but loud! This thing fits in your pocket but can fill a room with sound. Will take 32 gb micro sd cards
