Q: The camera works well, it is just too bright with any light. How do you adjust the brightness?

I just received the webcam and am testing it. I bought it in a bit of a rush so didn’t notice that the aperture is 2.1. That’s a wide-open aperture! For photography and videography, a “normal” aperture range would be from 5.6 on the “open” end, to around 11. So... unless a streaming camera is totally different, I’m going to be surprised if I’m even able to use it. My goal is to teach dance fitness on Zoom with a different camera than the one that’s built in to my computer. When a lens lets in this much light, the area that’s is sharp focus is much smaller. Maybe the company made this camera specifically for low light. My guess is that you’d better find your spot in front of it and not move too much. The reviewers seems to get good video. I’ll report back after I do some tests.

Not very bright. Get a ring light if you need light

Q: Why I can't get the image when using Skype, but the mic works?

The webcam works with Skype, please download the latest version on Skype official website: www.skype.com This problem normally just happen in Window 10's preinstalled Skype, or Skype version downloaded from Window app store, Google store.

Q: Can you use a different microphone? I need to use a headset to teach.

Sure. Easily. You can select the mic in the sound settings
