This telescopic lightweight Easel is great for my painting processes. The instructions were confusing, but once it was assembled, it was easy to set up and break down. It’s extremely lightweight, so you may need something to weigh it down using the hook so it doesn’t fall over.

I wanted an easel that doesn’t take much space in the house. This one seems pretty sturdy so far. I put a 16x20 canvas on it and it holds pretty good. I didn’t go through the trouble to install the tray cuz I won’t be using it much. But as the easel itself, I like the balance indicator to tell how level it is. The crank mechanism seems a little cheap and easy to break. We’ll see how long it lasts. But so far so good.

My daughter loves it because she can adjust the legs and use it anywhere. It is so compact and easy to carry.

Easy to assemble, just by sight, but there's instructions for the plate that you have to put on, and the person who wrote these instructions do not know how to speak English well.I had to find a man to put that on for me. The instructions are not adequate for putting it together yourself, unless you can just look at the parts, and guess for yourself how it's supposed to go on.But it's very durable and functional once you get it out together.

I use this easel for oil painting. I love that I can use different size canvases and that the easel is sturdy

This stand is more sturdy than another one I bought because it has an extra center pole in the middle to support the stand. But price is more than other similar products.

Wanted a light weight easel for pastel work that I could easily attach a DIY pastel crumb catcher to and move easily. It works great with my hand made catcher. The stand feels sturdy, can be easily adjusted to multiple heights, is so light to move around, and can be leveled on uneven surfaces for working en plain air.The plastic tray is likely breakable if you're hard on your equipment but it is handy. I'll likely never use this outdoors but for my purposes it's perfect and well priced.
