The Sweet Shoppe Coloring Book: A Fantastical and Splendid Display of Divine Confectionary Creation and Exquisite Candied Delights (Stoner Coloring Books Series)

I bought this book out of curiosity after seeing colored pages on a social networking channel and because of its enticing theme: An English confectionary at the turn of the 20th Century.The 40 images in heavy black ink are large and intricately detailed. Coloring the details won't be a problem because they're quite large.The pages are printed on one side of thick, off-white paper. I'd recommended these moderately complex images for experienced colorists.I have no complaints about this $15.99 book because I recently bought a brand-new copy of it online for $4.88 Total. It arrived a week ahead of schedule in mint condition. The seller only had 2 copies left.

Very old fashioned, kinda clip art collage style coloring book, on quality paper, bound across the top, so, great for lefties too~The paper is slightly creamy colored, thick (not floppy thin, not cardstock thick), great for all mediums. The images are great for beginners all the way to advanced. There are 41 full page illustrations.It's a quality coloring book, priced right for what's in it. Definitely gift worthy!

I love detailed coloring books ... I have more than a hundred. I was SO EXCITED about this book, but the illustrations are overly shadowed; which makes coloring very difficult. Lots of dark shading included in most or all illustrations. Do not recommend for casual coloring, but paper is durable enough to withstand paint.

This book has some really cute images to color. My only wish is that there were less black ink on each page... meaning there are too many filled in spaces. It's a bit hard to deal with when coloring with colored pencils and the overall look is just a bit too heavy with all that black.

The media could not be loaded.  Very nice coloring book for any fan of sweets!! Beautifully detailed with dark black shading. Would recommend for adults or teens.

That Book is absolutely Gorgeous, theirs lot of wonderful old elements on this book and the candies on the Glass Jars well just love to colored on that Fabulous book!

I returned this book. I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews but I really was interested in the theme of the book. It turned out, as noted in reviews, that the black lines were very heavy and there were thick chunks of solid black shading. Not what I wanted and certainly not pretty.

j'ai pris les deux ouvrages de cet artiste. c'est un style, un univers vintage. les papier est d'excellente qualité. on peu utiliser de la peinture quelle qu'elle soit (acrylique, gouache, néocolor 2, godets, crayons aquarellables, etc...). on peut aussi utiliser des markers = des feutres à alcohol (= alcool). dommage qu'on ne le voit pratiquement jamais passer sur les réseaux sociaux (youtube, facebook et ses groupes de coloriages pour adulte, insta, etc...). je le conseille vivement. j'espère qu'on en aura d'autres

First things first paper..The paper quality is very good it takes watercolour beautifully of course you have to be aware of the amount of water used because it isn't watercolour paper but it still holds up well. Pencils, pastels brilliant. I only use gel pens for very small areas and highlights likewise watercolour markers and they're fine too. Images are single sided so alcohol markers would be ok by either removing the image or protecting the next page.The images have a vintage, nostalgic feel took me back to that wonderful time where sweets were in glass jars, sold by weight and choosing was oh so difficult :)Yes there are black lines and some black areas these give these images their authentic vintage feel.I have many, many books and I only write reviews on, what are for me, the special ones. This is.

Disegni veramente belli e non semplici, ricchi di particolari. Le pagine poi si sfogliano verso l’alto e questo, secondo me, facilità il lavoro. Consigliatissimo. Amazon perfetto come sempre

Love this book. It's original, single sided, and the pictures are wonderful. It's like almost "oldies" in a way. I will buy "The Curiosity Shop".
