I live in a tropical climate where the humidity is known for causing mildew and mold on just about everything. I used these to keep my important documents stored in file cabinets mildew-free and smelling fresh—and put them inside shoe boxes and purses to stave off the mold. They work very well - and I found they need to be changed about once a year - maybe sooner if the humidity is high. This is my second time ordering and I highly recommend these. These are a nice size for the money. I am using them in my dry dog and cat food. I thought I would have to use 5-10 of the smaller ones. These sizes only require one in the food container.
