Spektrolight 400 Lumen Battery Lantern with Nightlight, 4 D Batteries, Camp Lantern, Emergency Lantern

I honestly love this lantern. Three light settings. The low green light worked well to leave on through the night in our tent so we could see , in case the kids woke up in the middle of the night... I used amazon batteries and they worked well, lasting the whole weekend trip . I searched and searched on amazon. This was the best deal I could find. Great light output, good size, light weight, and durable.

I bought several of these lanterns for use while rummaging around in my storage buildings. They work well with lower voltage NiMh rechargeable batteries. My only negative observation is that the lighting pattern is directional, so you need to tilt the lantern to use is to light a path on the ground. Lots of light, though, and D size batteries give it long usage time..

The light was definitely bright but the way it lit up was a bit awkward. It was too bright to be at eye level but it would disperse the light at a downward angle so you had to raise it higher to see. It was small and portable which was nice, but was a bit hard to get the lighting in the right areas without shinning oddly into your eyes. I like the size and weight very much

I used this only 1 time so far. Right away there was a problem with the left burner. It kept going out no matter what adjustment i made with the flame. The right one worked perfect but dissapointing that they both didnt work that good for that much money.

Great light, really bright and easy to carry. I use it for surf fishing at night on the breach and one is all I need. This is an excellent product at a good price so if your even slightly thinking about it just go for it.

This little lantern is great! I bought it because Northern Michigan is notorious for power outages. I didn't have to wait long to prove the usefulness of this little gem. Don't let the small size fool you--this little bugger can light up your life!It doesn't use much battery power at all. I'm ordering another one!!!

Works just as described. Low setting is like a night-light. Middle setting is fine and is best for most uses. High setting will hurt your eyes as if staring into the sun! Seriously, don't look at the light on high setting. Good for searching for items in the dark or taking on a night-time walk. Light-weight, easy carry handle.

Great light with excellent build quality and performance, especially considering the price. It is kinda heavy as it uses 4 D batteries.Of note, the green light that comes on when using the low setting is extremely dim. It is essentially useless except for letting you see where the lantern is located at in the dark. Personally would rather have a lower setting for the white light that is usable in dim lighting or perhaps as a nightlight and get rid of the green altogether.Overall though I am happy with the lantern and would recommend it.
