Great piece for my physical therapy as a supplement to what I do at the PT office. The individual digit grip is an amazing feature, Never quite saw how much weaker certain fingers are, especially after surgery or an accident.

A ~handy tool for keeping my impossible American Ninja Warrior and star musician dreams alive.
The words "grip strength" weren't even on my radar before American Ninja Warrior, but now they haunt me. That's the easy part, right? The holding on! Wrong. I tried to hang from a 2x4 ledge at a science museum recently and I lasted about 2.5 seconds. My pathetically weak hands also tend to get tired or cramp when I'm pulling on the rower handles or the power-ropes in the gym. Add to this my longstanding, often thwarted desire to become a guitarist and I was pretty stoked to get a chance to try this little gadget. Because it allows you to depress the springs with each individual finger, it helps a lot more for the type of 'fingering' you need with a stringed instrument.I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I do kind of wish this thing came with an "Idiot's Guide to Squeezing Things" or something, as I'm still working out what the most effective way to use the thing is and my google-fu has turned up nothing. All in all, this seems like a well constructed gadget that serves its purpose. Each of the finger pads operates smoothly without catching on its neighbors. They're grooved/beaded so they also provide texture to keep it from slipping and the bumpy surface almost functions as a massager. Because the springs are on both sides, there's enough give that I don't feel like I'm bruising my thumb or palm when I'm squeezing from the other direction. It functions quietly and smoothly. The device is obviously easily reversible, so you can use it with either hand. One fun note is that it labels each finger with the region of the body it is supposed to be connected to. I'm not sure if this functions as a sort of acupressure technique, but that seems like the implication.I've been enjoying using this thing while I'm idly watching TV or reading papers. I've discovered that some of my fingers are stronger and more agile than others, so it's nice to be able to isolate my ring finger, for example. It's also weirdly fun to challenge yourself to push down only certain fingers without moving the other pads.I was fortunate to receive this product at a free or discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. I am always conscious and aware of the number of items and possessions I bring into my home and try to make mindful decisions, because The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up told me to. For this reason, I only accept items that I feel will serve me, my family, and my needs. I do not accept items that seem useless or that do not speak to me. If I post a positive review it is because I had a positive experience. If I have only positive experiences, I chalk that up to a successful exercise in mindful purchasing and decision-making. If I have a negative experience, as with any Amazon product, I reach out to the seller or manufacturer and seek resolution to see if it's a lemon or just not worth it across the board.

Works as described. Perfect for building finger strength.
I've used several of these types of products in attempts to build finger strength for playing guitar. This hand strengthener stacks up with the rest of them. I believe it's about 7lbs of pressure on the spring and the unit seems very solid. A couple of things prevent a 5 star review: no padding on finger portions and there is some lateral movement in the finger springs making it a little difficult to push the pinky down fully.

I've been using this for a month now. It's very comfortable, the size is convenient - I just leave it in the car and use it on the way to work. I'll need to "graduate" to the harder one soon but have already noticed a difference in my hand strength as well as improved circulation - I think anyway - I used to wake up with my hands numb and since I started using this that has stopped completely.

Good, good, good!
A good simulator for each finger has a slot can be practicing at any time niprimer when watching a movie or the news, read a book, a newspaper, a good discharge. This machine is very easy to use, very nice fits in your hand, and you covers the entire palm of his trainer (of course, depending on who has what kind of hand), and then just squeeze and squeeze as many times, how many hands enough.
