Very sturdy plastic. A little large, so I wouldn't use it for a child. Very easy to paint with minimal sanding required.The strap was the biggest issue. Literally fell off within minutes so we had to rivet a leather strap on instead.

I can’t say enough about how amazing these masks are. I purchased the full masks and a half mask. I had a friend paint them as skeletons for me for our engagement photo session. We were married on Halloween so our reception was a Dia De Los Muertos theme so I had them painted in that style. They turned out so beautiful. Used just basic acrylic craft paint with a modge podge coat for protection. They are very sturdy and had no trouble breathing behind them. They were such a hit. One thing, the ribbon didn’t hold up so we drilled a small hole and tied the ribbon to the masks that way. Worked perfectly then. Because they are so study we drilled a couple holes into the mask with the hat and tied it to the hat. Then it could easily be placed on without needing the ribbon at all. My headdress was heavy so again we drilled a couple holes and tied the headdress to the mask. I love these masks and will def be ordering them again in the further. Worth every penny!

Great masks, eye catching but very big. Just oh so big. We tied elastic stretch string we already had for making jewelry to the ribbons that came on the masks. We cut the ribbon and then tied the elastic on. Helped to secure the mask better than the ribbon did. The mask is still really big but it helps to keep it on. These are pretty solid and definitely a little heavy. Makes me about the solid craftsmanship. We love the mask but it’s not something we could dance or anything crazy a give while wearing.

This mask is really great! If you’re going to paint it, I do suggest spraying it first with a matte white paint. It really helped to make the perfect base before painting it. I thought it was quite sturdy and very comfortable to wear. It does create a bit of a problem for talking, but besides that I had no complaints! That really wasn’t a big issue.

Large, strong, and sturdy mask. I bought this to wear while passing out candy during Halloween. I wanted a mask that I could slip on and off quickly, so as not to scare younger children. And I was worried that the ribbon ties in the back wouldn’t allow for a quick transition. Luckily the mask comes with a little slip-lock that slides over the ribbons and holds them in place. And the form factor easily allowed the mask to slide up and stay on top of my head. Good quality product.The ribbons are essentially glued into the mask, so I AM a bit worried that they might pull out in the future, but they held firm all night with ease, so ... so far so good.

The masks look nice and were good quality but the little ribbons on the back to tie them on did not work well. We ended up making loops from the ribbons and tied on rubber bands to keep the masks on. Two of the masks we had to hot glue the ribbons back on. Some users hot glued thick foam in the insides to hold the mask out away from their faces. I also like that you could decorate them if you want. So with some modifications they were pretty good and served their purpose.

I bought these to make masks for a mask show I entered in 2019. These masks were perfect for my needs, sturdy, comfortable to wear and could take a lot of abuse with the products I used to build up the masks.

Actually I bought this to ducktape it so I could as jimmy from payday 2, but I have to say the mask alone is really well made. It’s not cheap material and is pretty thick so it won’t break easily. The only problem is that the string is kinda cheap😕, I didn’t have a problem with it, but I’m sure someone did.
