Significant omissions
A nice book, but why or how did you omit Louise Beavers and Juanita Moore who by the way, co-starred in the 1934 (Beavers) and 1959 (Moore) versions of Imitation of Life????

So specific! So sad!
WOW! OMG!! I read “everyday-all day”.. my book #11 this year is Finding Me… I’m not even half way and I’m just heart-broken!!! Page 71 finally brought me to tears and made my stomach ache!!! Viola and her sister played fantasy games if being rich—While Their Mother Was Being Beaten!!! What a story! What a childhood!! What great writing!!

A Must Have
A wonderful book to have in your library! Well- illustrated, colorful, and it includes a timeline of some of the Black women who have made/are making a difference for our future generations. A great book to pass down to our children.

Beautiful book
This book is an impressive display of our black actresses today. Very comprehensive deep dive into the talent base of actresses. The authors other book Supreme Models is just as delicious! Can’t wait to see the trilogy from the author.
