All About Manatees Paperback – Illustrated, May 1, 2008

We have wild turkeys all around Cape Cod. My granddaughters were quite intrigued by them this summer. This book gave us some more information. Well done!

My class does a research paper about frogs and this book has a lot of good information that they can use to write their paper.

My 5 year odl son destroyed his library book by leaving it outside.Im glad I could find this out of print book on Amazon! It was in GREAT condition almost as nice as the original book.

This heavily illustrated 28 page booklet has the famous Scholastic imprint. The page numbers include several pages with only drawings upon them, including 4 pages in the beginning at at the end which show only drawings of turkey foot prints. None the less, author/illustrator manages to give students-the book is only sold to schools-a very good idea of what turkeys look like, what they eat, how they live and the range of wild turkeys but historically and in modern times with the introduction of wild turkeys in new ranges. The text is straight forward and fact laden. The drawings flood each page, sometimes with a single image but often with many drawings teaching something or other about wild turkey physicality or life style. Teachers can make this 1999, colorful, informative booklet available to their students with confidence.
