This is the only shampoo that has worked on my scalp. I have tried everything and nothing has worked until I tried this product. Wish it was in stock to buy more.

Although this is a bit expensive for the price/volume, it is worth it. The lather is very thick and creamy like. As it is thick, you do not need to use as much as what you may be used to. Very pleasant smell but not overpowering at all.I have some dandruff, and this seems to control it. I have been using this product for over 6 mo now.

I lost hope on finding a product that will work, I even got prescription anti dandruff, in a beauty Salon they recommended this one for me, this is unbelievable that is actually working, I have been using it for 4 months now. Another point I noticed I think it is the only anti dandruff shampoo that doesn’t make your scalp dry, somehow it is extremely nourishing and get a rid of dandruff at the same time. Usually how the other work is they dry your scalp, this one looks like have a different technology… then most importantly it has no SLS or SLES or known harsh chemicals! There is nothing more I can ask for! Very satisfied and happy with this product and I highly recommend it!

Updated Oct 19---I was so happy with the shampoo and conditioner that I purchased a larger 16oz bottle. The shampoo was the same, with its fantastic smell. But the conditioner was different; it smelled, unlike the shampoo.The conditioner I received smelled fruity, almost like a cheaper brand. The bottle was a little different, too. It was to the point where I was convinced I had received a knockoff product and returned it for a replacement. But when I received the replacement, the conditioner had the same "knockoff" smell instead of the one I was used to from the shampoo. They changed the smell without telling customers!So now the shampoo has one smell, and the conditioner has another. Why?!I contacted them directly through the official website about my concerns, but they never replied.I'm very disappointed in the lack of communication the company seems to have with its customers, especially after feeling that this would be my new go-to brand.Just say something, you know!?---Original review---I wanted to try something different than Tgel, Head and Shoulder, or Dove. Something that smells like a boutique hotel soap while still being very effective at clearing up dandruff. And I've certainly found it with this shampoo and conditioner. By the second wash, my scalp was clear and continued to stay clear (and smell great) between washes. I'm very satisfied and would gladly recommend this to anyone considering this and wants something more than the big box store offerings.

This product is effective and kind to my hair and scalp. I use it every other day and am purchasing from Alevai for the second time. Today I'm buying their 32 oz conditioner (excellent product!), as the price is $1.56 per ounce! I wish their dandruff shampoo was available in 32 oz size at the better price. I'm nearly out of their shampoo! I just couldn't wait so I'm buying Vanicream's dandruff shampoo to tide me over until Alevai has 32 oz in stock.

Initially smells like red apples. Quickly moves to dirt. Looks like clay, makes your hair feel like clay. My olaplex conditioner and redken leave in conditioner are struggling to keep up. And that’s saying a lot. I’m seeing a slight improvement in dandruff *i think* I’m making this review too early, honestly. But I couldn’t let the apple thing slip my mindUpdate- after second wash, my dandruff has never been worse.

The shampoo left a strange residue in the hair and on scalp. Smells weird. Not 100% satisfied.
