Smells like Money and Linen and Sea without being "Fresh"
I'm definately not (not, not) a fan of 'fresh' scents, yet this walks the line between musky and sweet, of which it is absolutely not, and fresh and or typically 'nautical', of which it is not either. It's like clean linen and money and violets and the lake. It smells super expensive. It's really....a chameleon. A lady could wear it once it dries down. It's made for men and smells like a high finance without it ever cloying over you like a cloud. Gorgeous blue bottle. Extremely pleasing to hold in your hand. This is an absolute must have for a person that does not want to make a loud statement with cologne but wants to be 'heard' when someone is near. It's incredibly subtle but correctly weighted so that nothing stands out more than the other. Sometimes I think I smell salt, but I'm not sure; sometimes I think there's almost a ghost of sweetness but I can't quite ever locate it. There's the rich creaminess of the forest without the trees and the almost-salt without the typical 'sea' scent. It's mysterious without being overpowering. If you don't know if the person is 'fresh' or 'woodsey' try this. It's the kind of cologne a doorman or a ceo could wear. It doesn't draw attention, it invites you closer. It's the kind of cologne that ends up being both worlds, while decidedly being neither, at the same time. Not spicy. Not floral. Perfect. Like a confident whisper. I love it. 10/10. Definately unisex soon after it dries down. I'm a woman and for 27 dollars? I might by 10 and keep them for gifts or just spray all the pillows with it. Wow...

Absolute find, this.
I can't believe this is under $20. I blind-bought this as my first Lagerfeld fragrance and I'm now buying the Vetiver and and the original Lagerfeld, it was so good. This is "synthetic" in a good way, like an expensive car. It's not "woody" and certainly doesn't smell like a hike after the rain. I'd say it's a very expensive-smelling synthetic scent, backed by clean, cold water, not the "swimming pool" smell you usually get with blue freshies (looking at you, Versace) and an underlying note of something gourmand that comes to the fore during the dry-down. I want to say it's vanilla but it's not that "exotic" (more like greasy) as vanilla usually smells in fragrances. As gourmand non-enjoyer I find it very tasteful. The sillage is too intimate to wear to something like a club but not so intimate that the only people who will smell it are so close they've already decided they're sleeping with you (any Jo Malone ever). So, opt for something louder if you're trying to make an entrance. All-in-all a very clean and refined fragrance for summer that you could wear as easily and confidently to a date as to the office.

Nothing better for under 30$.
I can’t believe a luxury product this good is so cheap. It’s quite light, the scent is quite discreet and elegant. Only downside is that it might not be long lasting but since it is a small bottle; you can carry it with you. You get at least a clean 2 and a half hours before needing to refuel. For the price, it deserves a 4.7 out of 5 at least.
