Print is a bit small but it’s readable.
What more could you ask for. One of the greatest writers works all in one book.

Shakespeare on Kindle is wonderful. The works are a true pleasure to read
Shakespeare on Kindle is wonderful. The works are a true pleasure to read. I found the Kindle format improves the accessibility to Shakespeare's works by leaps and bounds. It is so much easier to hold a Kindle as opposed to the usual opulent complete works volume. The vocabulary used is a bit sticky at times, as one would expect it to be. Consequently, the dictionary was consulted on a regular basis. What a bonus to have a dictionary at one's fingertips on the Kindle!!! And the words I looked up in the dictionary while reading the plays, all appear in the "Vocabulary" section under the Menu. Very handy. As to this particular edition of the complete works of Shakespeare, I was very satisfied. The plays and sonnets, etc. appear in chronological order. There is a brief introduction to each work regarding content and historical background. It's enough information to put things in context, but keeps the focus on the upcoming play. No discoursing for pages and pages. I found the information useful. I would warmly recommend this edition to anyone who is interested in reading Shakespeare. A terrific read!

Great Shakespeare Collection
I have tried on many occasions to read Shakespeare. It can seem daunting. The introduction to this volume is outstanding. It sets the stage (pun intended) for reading these works. Very nice book (I bought the paperback version), but the fact that this includes “everything” he wrote, it seems like it won’t take much of a beating. It’s also a very heavy tome, so this is not a book to take on your morning commute. That said, the layout and typeface is nice. The paper is high quality. Buy this book, you won’t be disappointed.

THIS MAY BE THE DEFINITIVE SHAKESPEARE COLLECTION
After buying just about all of the collected works e-books for free or a couple dollars, I decided to spend a little more for a quality resource. This collection has all of Will's works and, I believe, then some. There are a few contested plays that I think add to the mix. Forget the cheap collections and get this one.

Illegible on Kindle
This retains the two column layout of the good-sized book. My Fire 11 Max is too small to show two columns. Increasing the text size makes letters fuzzy. It looks like a poor OCR scan. Presumably, that's the reason my expensive12th edition Paper white won't load it.

Identical to my print copy
I have most of this set beautifully bound by Folio Society in print and don't want to write in those volumes, so I use this kindle edition to allow me to add my copious notes to refer back to, highlight quotes that appeal and generally augment my reading pleasure. This kindle set works well for this purpose.Another advantage of the the kindle copy is that it has all the introductory material which I value too. Plus it also contains all the poetry and some lesser known works - it is truely "complete", well edited coming from Oxford and so a copy I can trust. I value this as I primarily use my kindle for complete editions of literature eg Dickens, Austin, Hardy et al and the classics.
