Very challenging language book
I got this book out of curiosity because I want to understand the workings of the language, not the language itself. I was able to get the gist of it from this book, but would never be able to speak or even understand the language using this book. I was lost before I even reached the alphabet page. The alphabet page through me for a loop since 4 or 5 of the letters appear to sound almost the same and I have no relationship between them and British alphabet characters. I think it needs even more basic information at the beginning of the book since this claims to be for beginners.I do appreciate that the book is clearly current as it refers to current events in some of the learning sections. I also appreciate the tips and tricks to learn a language such as flashcards and flipping a page back and forth to memorize words. I have used both methods to study and learn other topics, so I know that they work. The concept of the book is good, but I think that the first section of the book needs a lot more basic information if it is going to be considered for beginners.I received this book from Booksprout and have voluntarily reviewed it.

Helpful for beginners
The book starts off with guides for studying Arabic and learning vocabulary, then provides information on how to read the Arabic alphabet and its diacritics. It's very helpful for absolute beginners such as myself. There's also a verb conjugation guide, and each individual verb has a conjugation chart accompanied with examples sentences and their English equivalent. I recommend it for beginners such as myself!Btw, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Simple, concise, and straight to the point!
I love how the book explains the verb conjugation and how important context matters for words because for me that was a big issue. I wasn’t understanding at first when I was first learn and nobody really explain that like this book did so I would constantly ask for a translation for a word I already knew but not knowing it’s all about context that was confusing me so for this book definitely helped me with a headache. If he author another book I’ll be in the cyber line waiting for my copy!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Not bad for free book
Like that this books mentions stuff that other books don’t, like why to learn the language and some tips and tricks! Think you get some pretty good stuff for a free book. Obviously you won’t be able to speak Arabic after reading it but you may have an idea of the language.
